  • I'm looking for a recommendation on something that has a relatively short flowering time, any suggestions?
sweet.. cant wait... I got this stuff that is all organic liqufied worm poop and my seedling is loving it! it is a very low concentration because the manufacturer uses it as an orchid fertilizer Ill get a link in my thread if you want to see what Im talking about.
Cant wait for that shit.... please lemme know details when it may be availiable....
With that said, they're are people that swear by them, but none of them have been able to give me a counterargument, but they sure as hell get pissed of and start with personal attacks, hence why I came to your page to answer it...
Keep in mind, this was my first experience with indoor grows, up till now everything I had done had been outdoors, otherwise i would have probably heard of 12/12 from seed and not messed with them in the first place. Live and learn I suppose...
    2) you can't clone the little bastards, before I got mine I had read a post of someone saying they were cloning it, but upon talking to several auto growers and trying it myself, no, its a lie, it just doesn't work. Unless it was a fluke or something that was pheno specific...but doubt it.
    3) third selling point was short height for indoor growers...because before there was nothing like lst, topping, etc to achieve this...oh wait, they're was.
Like I said, my personal opinion based on being sold on the hype and jumping all over it just to realize I had been had. I'm now 3 months behind where I want to be with my grow op because I wasted my time on them to begin with.
To answer your question about the advantages of auto's, keep in mind this is all my humble opinion, THERE ARE NONE...and here is why I say that....
    1) First selling point was supposed to be getting a harvest much faster than you could ever think of from a photo strain....FALSE
my supporting math. My auto assassin should preflowers at 3 weeks, and finished at almost 11 weeks. If you start a photo from seed 12/12, guess what, you'll see preflowers in 3 weeks. Get a indica dominant (which most auto's are anyways) and you have a flowering time of 8-9 weeks, giving you a grand total of 11-12 weeks. So a whole week, week and a half was saved...
hey dude! im just having a bit of trouble trying to send you a private message with my home address in it. is there any way you think you'd be able to delete some private messages so that i can message it to you ? sorry about the late reply too, i thaught i sent you a message ages ago but i gess you didn't get it :0
Yessir! It's the metric we use to determine flowering times. If everybody counted from the time they see the first pistils, then every strain would have a flowering time variance of +- 3weeks! That's because the quality of the info would vary by the user.
PS. And Don't take those flowering times too seriously by the seedbanks. They like to underestimate the flowering times to grab your attention. Most strains produce several different phenotypes that each have their own timeframe, typically +- a week difference. Use it as a guideline. Bong, there are SO MANY variables to every grow. YOU are the one who will really know when those puppies are finished!
love the calc you made for feeding mate!!!

I havent used it yet, but im just starting off with a new grow and complete newbie at this.....so should help me heaps i think!!!

As for the calculations though....they are based on a hydro setup right?.....how true would they hold for soil?
