lol well yea I've been lovin this 1K guys. All my harvest is gone, some of the new harvest just came down. At this point I have at least 1 plant coming down every 3 weeks... Unfortunatly I don't have any definite weights. Which I know most people are looking to see how much you can harvest in...
well guys harvested a couple of the girls a bit ago, dried em and Got 6.1 oz's off 6 plants, had 3 plants come down about a month (maybe a little less) before that but didn't feel like weighing them just smoked it. lol
Anyways I went with another upgrade. I'm rockin a 1K Hortilux SUPER HPS now...
Trim off the lower budsites (nodes) but not the actual leaves, and you will git bigger nugs up top. I do this mainly in the 2nd week of flower, and just pretty it up in the 4th. Never cut off a healthy leaf tho, that's going in reverse. Keeping the stretch to a minimum helps alot too. Goodluck
Yea I get the $20 Ultrasun bulbs at the same hydro store I always go to. Where I purchased the $94.95 Eye Hortilux bulbs. And yes, they're HPS. On the box is says "EYE Hortilux Enhansed Spectrum Super HPS"...
Hell yea man, thanks for that!
+Rep to ya MC!
Yea I just did my research and it showed the same thing. I'd be sacrificing 17,000 lumens using a Conversion bulb over these EYE Hortilux super HPS bulbs. I'm just curious to if I'm going to see a difference. Ultrasun $20 bulbs vs EYE Hortilux super HPS $100 bulbs. Like I said...
So I went ahead and bought 2 Hortilux bulbs... We'll see what happens. I know it's hard to tell, but there's 4 rows of 4 plants. Some pix after a watering and swapping out the bulbs.
Ya know that's probably the best bet MCP. Thanks dog, that way I won't be sacrificing and yield really, but still get to diddle in some ponics. That's what I'm going to do. I'll probably make 2 bubble buckets. One with a drip system and one withour. That's just what I'm thinking now. So we'll...
Switching to 2K just at the end of flower seems somewhat pointless to me and just flat out to much work. I put my plants that are furthest along out to the edges and then put the NEW plant that are being added into flower RIGHT under the lights. Helps to prevent to much of a stretch because I...
