The way that I myself do it is I have my far reds come on 5 minutes before the main lights go off and then run for 10 mins after for a total of 15 minutes.

I think they are about 24 inches or so and after bleaching the last run I was a lot concerned lol but they seem to be loving it

I run my cobs bare and works great so far. As far as 2 drivers into 1 plug I'm not sure but I went to home depot and got a 2ft ext cord with 3 plugs and just zip tied it to the frame, I've posted pics in this thread of it. Depending on how hard you run the cobs 4 kits might be to much I run 2...
