I would take a clone during veg, and take the clone on through with the other plant. Then in flower, take the clone in and out of the correct lighting like brewing up mentioned. This should produce a hermie right? Then take the hermie's pollen and spread on the non-hermie.

Buying a couple extra beans will get you there later... But as for getting seeds from a Femed plant, you would have to induce stress so it would Hermy. But, then I would imagine that the Hermy part of the plant would be possible to be more dominant in the seeds...

I would also say NO, at least on your first grow. The First grow is to get everything dialed in correctly, learning as much as you can, and hopefully, learning how to fix problems you may encounter. Listening to your plants is the most important thing IMO.

Nothing more satisfying then a successful grow! Addicted yet?

I went straight to 12/12 not having a dark period during the transition. Not sure if there is a benefit to it. I read that the light cycle isn't truly recognized until about 3 days at 12/12, or the 10 hours of darkness a day required to initiate flowering.

I do believe I will only have two,maybe even one plant(s) next grow, as this grow is very crowded. Pics are of only one of Four plants in the tent. Two had to be LST to keep from getting to close to the HPS. The last one was a Male and was removed from the tent giving me room for the 3...

It has been very forgiving so far. And its all trial and error for me at this point.
