    How To: DWC

Thanks guys, I think I'll try the straight water first. I have just the one in DWC that's ready to start flushing. Next time I'll try the A1. I have 2 GDP, 1 green crack, and a WW all about a week into 12/12 in DWC. Thanks for turning me onto the DWC method and for all your help Void. My plants...

Bet you've got a park nearby or a neighbour that'll let you prune his for him. Check CL also. People offer them on there sometimes because people use them for crafts and things because they are so flexible.

All you do is find a willow tree, any willow variety. Cut a bunch of the branches that hang down. You want them up to about the thickness of a pencil. Strip any leaves or fuzzy buds off them. Take a pair of shears and cut them into about 1/2" lengths and put them in a bucket. I use 1gal buckets...

I'll tell you the one thing they can't recreate in the lab. Willow water! That stuff is mother natures organic steroids for plants. For all my plants soil & hydro I start with willow water whether I'm adding nutes or not. If you've never tried it, find a willow tree and make some. I've grown one...

Nature creates a balance but people trying to put nature into a pot in the spare bedroom don't always achieve that balance. You can burn plants just as easy with Organics as with any other fertilizer. Burn is caused by an abundance of one element or another, and also by drastic increases in...

Lol you organic fanatics crack me up some times. The only difference in my Jungle Juice and your bat shit smoothie is that you and your plants have to work harder to get the nutrients. Nitrogen, phosphorus..ect. are elements. Plain and simple, regardless of whether they were created in a lab or...

I'm no expert but isn't flushing and rinsing the medium 2 very different things? I found this thread searching for info on flushing. It sounds like you know a bit about it Killer. Care to fill me in? I'm using DWC buckets with Jungle Juice nutes and willow water. Is there a good way to do it...

    How To: DWC

Hey all, would anyone care to share their methods for flushing before harvest with DWC? I've been using DWC for my mother plants for awhile, but this will be my first harvest using it. I'm using Jungle Juice nutes, and willow water and it has really done well for me. I'm a cheap skate so if...

    The very best hydro rig!

Very nice! I'm currently running both soil and DWC. I have a nice Jack Herrer in the DWC, Sour Diesel & Purple Mystery in soil. They will be 60 days on May 9th. The Jack & Purple will be ready to harvest, but the Diesel I'll let go around 70 days or so. I've got a question for you. Do you flush...

    How To: DWC

I hear the buckets from big box stores like Lowes & Home Depot are grade 4. Food grade is #2 so you want to stick with 2 or 1 I guess. Not sure what #1 is so don't quote me on that. But stick with #2 and you'll be good.

    How To: DWC

Personally I've never used them. After the last few horror stories I've heard my girls are staying in food grade! People play Russian Roulette and live to tell the tale as well. It's just not worth saving a dollar or 2 if there is the risk of losing a plant 1/2 way through flower or even just...

    How To: DWC

I believe we have solved the problem. The plant was moved to a new rez which was made from a Lowes bucket. Lowes and home depot buckets are not food grade. The problem is they have chemicals that will leach into your water and kill plants. I use 10gal sterilite totes which work great. If your...

    How To: DWC

I'm not sure how you figure that putting your buckets in a pool of water to chill them will cause problems. For one its on the outside of your Rez. Two use clean water and change it out every so often. Don't get your water from a mud puddle and use it for the life of your plant and your not...
