Bet you've got a park nearby or a neighbour that'll let you prune his for him. Check CL also. People offer them on there sometimes because people use them for crafts and things because they are so flexible.

All you do is find a willow tree, any willow variety. Cut a bunch of the branches that hang down. You want them up to about the thickness of a pencil. Strip any leaves or fuzzy buds off them. Take a pair of shears and cut them into about 1/2" lengths and put them in a bucket. I use 1gal buckets...

I hear the buckets from big box stores like Lowes & Home Depot are grade 4. Food grade is #2 so you want to stick with 2 or 1 I guess. Not sure what #1 is so don't quote me on that. But stick with #2 and you'll be good.
