Wet trim compared to dry trim

Good one mate thanks, yeah I can't see the money in what they want for a Cannatrol they want 4k+here.

Wet trim compared to dry trim

mp I wonder how a meat curer would go, way cheaper than Cannatrol, you only need to dial in temp and humidity, actually, I might build a box with some controls on it I don't think it would be that hard to do, heater, humidifier and small exhaust fan with a few sensors, I need to do something...

    Analog timer overheating

A timer has a rated current, most in Aus are 10 amps which will handle at max 3 600watts lights or 2 1000 watt lights, so long as the load is under the timers 10 amp rating there wont be a problem with the timer, the thing with lighting is the startup uses more amps and then lowers to its...

    Analog timer overheating

You never overload a circuit doesn't matter how many appliances are on it so long as your not overloading the circuit breaker you're on, that has nothing to do with running a contactor to take startup load off the timer when it clicks on to fire up lighting.

    Analog timer overheating

The thing with timers is they have contact points and when pulling high amps those points get like little weld spots on them that can cause them to get stuck on, best method is to have a contactor take the load and the timer just turns that on and off never have a problem with overloading a...

    Co2 gas type

I do but an 18hr day means 6hrs are in the heat of the day, I still have to vent with full airflow at nighttime just cant gas in a closed room as our nights are still a little hot, but fine for full venting at night.

    Co2 gas type

Just an update. Got it all setup and working, the problem Ive had is my small aircon struggles with all the lights on when its really hot outside, we are in summer now, anyway what Ive done is have the aircon, humidifier and gas on with 1/2 the lights on for 6 hrs during the heat of the day...

    Humidity

Youre not saying what the humidity is that you are bringing into the space, at best, you can only equal that with airflow, you can bring that down or up slightly by regulating your temperature, but in an open grow with a lot of venting in your room you are governed by outside humidity. In veg...

    Analog timer overheating

Divide your voltage say 110 into your wattage 2250 and youre pulling 20.4 amps. on a 240 volt system youre pulling 9.3 amps.

    Analog timer overheating

Aus we are 240 volts our circuits are 10amp standard. I guess its just same volts divided into watts to get the amps.

    Analog timer overheating

You understand a space heater will pull 2400 watts, an electric kettle will full 1800 to 2400 watts, clothes drier will pull 2400 watts, which is all the rated max of a normal 10amp circuit, the problem is how many outlets are on the same circuit, growers will set up a room and everything runs...

    aircon watts to btu

The window aircon I have is only 1600 watt maximum cooling, its small 450-millimetre square about 18inch I can pick it up and poke it in the hole above my head, yesterday it was 30 celsius outside and inside the room with lights on the aircon easily kept the room at 26 celsius, enough so that...

    aircon watts to btu

Ok swapped out the units and it seems to be doing the job while turned down, the other one was faulty it was full cold settings and couldn't do it.
