What do you mean by DWC? Deep water culture or is a term for a type of pvc? Also you think I can get all this at a box store minus the fancy collars? I will have to find a solution for those.
If I got 1/3 of his yields I would be happy. I am really impressed by this setup.
Heath,
Someone linked this to my post over at another site. I am very impressed with your ingenuity. Kudos.
I was looking for the parts from the list you provided and am only finding the items in the UK and I am on the other side of the pond. Any idea where I may locate these fittings...
Thanks Bugs,
I really like that link but I wonder how secure something like that would be. Going to look into it. I just got a new job and need to travel alot these next several months and this would be a great addition.
I am curious how long is the most time you have left your indoor garden alone. My circumstances have changed and I am wondering how long it is possible, if set up correctly, can I leave the garden alone. Can I come once a week? Could I stretch it out to 3 times a month?
I am using...
I am interested in what everyone would go with. I kind of like the look of a vertical grow but it seems as though a stadium offers a little more room to work with should your plants big.
Whether I go full vertical or with the stadium I will build each wall on rollers so that I can push it...
THANKS
Yeah light penetration is my biggest concern. I have never been too successful outdoors but think a greenhouse concept will help. Yes I can't use it until next year but I will build it this fall so that I can use it for my calves this winter and start the charade. I will post some...
There are several of these giant white tunnels on my road. They are for housing calves or hay storage usually. Or at least I think so:-|. One more should not draw too much attention whereas a greenhouse would. My property is rather private. It was part of a 1000 acre farm broke into 30+ lots...
This is somewhat an unusual grow room and if it shouldn't be here the mods can move it sorry. Got no love on the outdoor thread:peace:. Just got the how you gonna pay for it comments as they grow on the cheap cheap.
I own a piece of land and would like to put one of these up and start a crop...
The first one costs about $1,500 with frame and obviously can be taken down and moved.
The 2nd building I didn't get a price.
The third building without the pony wall sells for 13 grand but they make a slightly smaller version for $8,000.
No I can't afford it but yes I can get the money...
Will these type of buildings allow enough sunshine through to grow a successful crop? Do you think the plants will stretch or should I be ok? The 2nd and 3rd would appear to let more light in. I am in need of a building that looks like it is for storage or agriculture and does not let anyone...
I am setting up a vertical garden and am trying to decide between using (2) 48" dual cool tubes vs. a single 92" 4 section vertitube Octagon Hydroponics' Vertitube Lighting System | Humboldt Wholesale.
Maybe its just me but with the vertitube I am concerned that the sections are...
I am constructing a vertical soil garden. It is going to be shaped like an octagon and will have shelves every every 18 inches.
I am curious as to whether I should purchase 600 watt ballasts or 1000 watt ballasts. I will be purchasing Lumatek Digital Ballasts so that I can veg and flower...
I was at first thinking it had to be 1200 watts too but then I got so :joint::? I convinced myself otherwise. Makes sense or I guess everyone would have a few. Hopefully its true that theres no dumb questions. Anyone use a E-ballast with a flip?
