are there good books to show me how to grow froom start to finish ????????

The Grow Bible by George Cervantes is by far my favorite although these forums and others provided me with way more help than any book could ever do.

    Heaths Flooded Tube Vertical

What do you mean by DWC? Deep water culture or is a term for a type of pvc? Also you think I can get all this at a box store minus the fancy collars? I will have to find a solution for those. If I got 1/3 of his yields I would be happy. I am really impressed by this setup.

    Heaths Flooded Tube Vertical

Heath, Someone linked this to my post over at another site. I am very impressed with your ingenuity. Kudos. I was looking for the parts from the list you provided and am only finding the items in the UK and I am on the other side of the pond. Any idea where I may locate these fittings...

Longest you can leave your grow alone

Thanks Bugs, I really like that link but I wonder how secure something like that would be. Going to look into it. I just got a new job and need to travel alot these next several months and this would be a great addition.

Longest you can leave your grow alone

I am curious how long is the most time you have left your indoor garden alone. My circumstances have changed and I am wondering how long it is possible, if set up correctly, can I leave the garden alone. Can I come once a week? Could I stretch it out to 3 times a month? I am using...

    Vertical Grow vs. Stadium Grow

I am interested in what everyone would go with. I kind of like the look of a vertical grow but it seems as though a stadium offers a little more room to work with should your plants big. Whether I go full vertical or with the stadium I will build each wall on rollers so that I can push it...

    40' by 40' grow room

THANKS Yeah light penetration is my biggest concern. I have never been too successful outdoors but think a greenhouse concept will help. Yes I can't use it until next year but I will build it this fall so that I can use it for my calves this winter and start the charade. I will post some...

    40' by 40' grow room

There are several of these giant white tunnels on my road. They are for housing calves or hay storage usually. Or at least I think so:-|. One more should not draw too much attention whereas a greenhouse would. My property is rather private. It was part of a 1000 acre farm broke into 30+ lots...

    40' by 40' grow room

This is somewhat an unusual grow room and if it shouldn't be here the mods can move it sorry. Got no love on the outdoor thread:peace:. Just got the how you gonna pay for it comments as they grow on the cheap cheap. I own a piece of land and would like to put one of these up and start a crop...

Can I use these as a giant greenhouse

The first one costs about $1,500 with frame and obviously can be taken down and moved. The 2nd building I didn't get a price. The third building without the pony wall sells for 13 grand but they make a slightly smaller version for $8,000. No I can't afford it but yes I can get the money...

Can I use these as a giant greenhouse

Will these type of buildings allow enough sunshine through to grow a successful crop? Do you think the plants will stretch or should I be ok? The 2nd and 3rd would appear to let more light in. I am in need of a building that looks like it is for storage or agriculture and does not let anyone...

    (4)600's or (2)1000 watt ballasts??

I am constructing a vertical soil garden. It is going to be shaped like an octagon and will have shelves every every 18 inches. I am curious as to whether I should purchase 600 watt ballasts or 1000 watt ballasts. I will be purchasing Lumatek Digital Ballasts so that I can veg and flower...

    Not another power consumption Q

I was at first thinking it had to be 1200 watts too but then I got so :joint::? I convinced myself otherwise. Makes sense or I guess everyone would have a few. Hopefully its true that theres no dumb questions. Anyone use a E-ballast with a flip?
