Will the trichomes on the buds turn at a different time that the leaves? It's a little difficult to check, because I have to clip a piece off and bring to my computer to get under the scope. (and of course I don't want to clip to much of the buds off before their time!)

I've tried Diatomaceous earth, and keeping fly strips near, but yet, they persist.

Is it possible to leave a few buds on the plant longer than others? If possible, I'd like to do that to see the difference and have some buds that are higher in CBN. Will the remaining one or two buds still progress normally if most of the plant is removed?
