tincture meant for consumption used as topical

Let's say your grandma who doesn't want to "feel high" and hasn't even had a fermented drink in her life rubbed one of my 151 tinctures on her neck for pain. This would be a tincture that would normally get her blasted if it her ingested orally. Would she be OK as far as not feeling high at all, right? Would the same go for cannacoconut oil? (assuming you could add some kinda "lotiony" fragrance to it that would kinda remind the old bag that it's a topical and not a spread/condiment)

I don't think it matters but tincture would be small glass bottles full of bud and 151 rum (bud will be a mix of decarbed and not decarbed flower).

Coconut oil would be better for her skin. THC is not supposed to be absorbed thru the skin but if granny has that real thin papery skin she might feel it. I use one part normal strength coconut oil with 3 parts plain coconut oil for a 90 year old couple. Put it in the fridge until it starts to harden then whip it with a mixer. You can add any fragrance but be aware of allergy and some fragrances are a irritant to thin old people skin

We use DMSO with cbd to mimick those cbd patches. I’ve put some tincture in it before, but I don’t recall feeling anything. Maybe give it a go yourself and see how you feel? Or some other willing guinea pig? First thought in mind is accidentally freaking out grandma wouldn’t be a good time.

Topicals are lotions and balms that are meant to be applied directly on the area of discomfort for localized relief. Tinctures, like topicals, can not only be used this same way, but they also can also be used to make your own topicals as well as used to make medical marijuana topical products stronger. It is important to note that tinctures will not work transdermally (like the Dr. Solomon’s THC Transdermal Lotion) and will not cause psychoactivity. They work like THC pain cream; targeted and localized relief without psychoactive effects.
