Not sure of the exact temperature but it seems that both the HPS and MH run about the same, give or take a few degrees. My room never runs hotter than 80 degrees with the door closed. I have (2) 6" fans blowing and (1) 4" in-line exhaust duct fan. I still need to create an intake for my room, but it seems to be working well right now.

If you're referring to the color temperature, I think it's somewhere between 4000 - 5000 and the HPS is somewhere between 2000 - 3000

my HPS hood im using is a yield-master 2 6" air cooled sealed hood bought it off my buddy for like 50 bucks he upgraded his and i think im gonna move up to what hes got its they Magnum XXL 6" air cooled much better spread and if your refering to the cfl hood i made that one from some baking pans, surge strips, white spray paint, sockets and some duct tape and zip ties. most any hydro store will carry the hood im using for my hps but if you dont have one near you i would have to say use google. you can find everything you ever need between amazon and google if no hydro stores in the area.
