As much effort is necessary. Obviously, I have no idea how to build. If anyone wants to spell it out to me, that would be kool. Cost efficiency is my second concern. Quality is #1. Labor involved is irrelevant.
Would you recomend something other than 3/4 pressure treated considering costs? I am on the coast, so moisture is a concern.

Well you have to consider safety in two terms:
Safety against being caught VS. Safety of suspicion. Both are disastrous, but being caught is obviously worse.
