This is a little off topic, but I just switched from a cool tube to a CoolSun XL reflector with a hot spot diffuser on my 1000w hps. I seem to get better coverage with this than the cool tube, and I could put the plants touching the glass if I wanted to for some reason.

The Hanna one has to be calibrated for pH and for ec. It does both calibrations basically automatically. The lcd seems plenty readable to me. Does anyone know how long I can expect this thing to last?

Thanks. I really expected the zippers I ordered to be light tight. I just assumed that they all were. Now that I know some are and some aren't, I think that I'll just get some that are light tight in the next couple of weeks. I can just keep that whole bedroom pretty dark during the dark...
