Cloning. A few tips/suggestions

So I see quite often posts about dying clones, wilted clones, or "I used to get good results with cloning."
Now there are a bunch of cloning tutorials around the web so I'm not going to do a step by step. I learned my method from old high times, intuition and trial and error. Haven't had a clone die in long time now.
So here are a few tips I have found that helped me figure it out.

- I don't use any kind of humidity dome. I live in a dry area, not the desert but I don't have any humidity issues. So I found that the dome keeps it a bit too moist for healthy ganja, maybe those domes are for some other plant?
-I never spray my clones leaves with anything, no water, foliar, or cide. My Daddy taught me that when you spray a clone it takes in a bit of that water, then it won't need to use its roots for uptake. If you don't spray the clone will be forced to drink from the stalk/roots.
-different plants or different sized clones or where you take the clone from can make a difference.
Some plants don't like to be messed with, they kinda bitchy. Others seem to respond to tough love. Tough love plant is easier to clone. I think that new fleshy branches are easier, than woody branches.
-sterilize your workspace and tools before you begin. Use rubbing alcohol, squirt on a cutting board, razors, water cups.

I am sure there are a hundred more, but these were the things that really helped me.

Happy cloning:)

I currently use dipngrow, soil mix, solo cups with holes poked in the bottom. Clone don't droop, happy, springy, easy.

-I keep new clone in my normal veg room, but way low, away from the light, sometimes partially shaded by canopy. Seems like being too close to the light is too much or a little less light makes the rooting faster.

I think the most overlooked variable in cloning is probably peoples temperatures. Its like porridge! Too hot or too cold and you'll have poor results. My cloning takes place between 72-78f

Went thru a spell where all my clones would slime and die, temps and 30ml H2O2 into my buble cloner and Shazam,

No humidity dome?, only means a cutting can absorb water is through leaves...so keeping RH at 100% promotes faster root development. Think of it as using a spray bottle constantly.
