I won't drop into the sad again...but to capture it all in a nutshell...we spent 4 years unraveling our world to be able to come here and we felt as if our son lead us to this place via a series of happenings. (I no longer say "coincidences") I have a tattoo on my leg that >is< those peaks that is a mock up of the glassblowing logo/moniker he created a few years before he passed to mark his pieces. When we asked "why the peaks?" He said "I don't know why but I know it will make sense someday".

When I turned onto this road and that view opened up...I had to pull over...cus..yeah...it all started to make sense.

I've been itching to get into glass blowing good friend learned at a small place down the road nice setup good guy then moved to Carolina. Unfortunately glass shop isn't there anymore. Those pieces are wild,I see so many things in them one looks like a plant I have the leaves of succulents. Really beautiful!

The guy doing my back fence is almost done, he's coming back to do one more post in a couple days. Roxy was wigging out all day because she wanted to go out and help him. I took her out for a few and she kind of gave him the side eye for a minute then wanted to climb up and join him.
I asked if he toked and he said yes so I gave him enough for a big cone for Friday night.

... First 3 albums for sure....and horn driven rock is the best rock ...
You would like up to 10. 4 is Live @ Carnegie Hall and 9 is a Greatest Hits. Their best horn rock sound would be the Kath era. He did have a lot of different and unique rhythms in that big frame.

I saw a YouTube video done by Kath's daughter. A good documentary about the band and Kath himself.

My son took a beadmaking class in Tech School as an elective...and he was hooked. He learned everything else from Youtube videos. (like he learned to play guitar/bass/drums) I bought him a torch and a kiln and he was off. Marbles...pendants...vases...and of course all of his friends wanted pipes...so he started making bubs/etc and was selling them to the headshops in Albuquerque before he passed. I have 3 pistol cases full of pipes/ash catchers/tower bongs/etc...and the marbles...which sit in a custom box that also hold his cremains. His best buddy also blew/blows glass and we gave him all of his goodies when he passed. You should give it a go...

Finally finished the grow room at the new digs! All 3 aero systems and veg tent up and running. So much fucking work, so glad it's done. Now I can just sit back and harvest a pound every 3 weeks.

It’s old news now, but my Wife and I really got into Blown Away on Netflix back in the waning days of the pandemic. Not a reality TV person at all, but the intricacy of the pieces and the ever present peril of working with glass made for a helluva entertaining show :)
