    Afghan Selection Seeds

Wow looks really awesome! I bet you'll get some F1 vigor in the outcrosses. Although they don't seem to be lacking that at all that's for sure. Looks super clean

Looks incredible! Hope that Maple leaf outcross turned out banging this year.

How dry can I let my plants in veg for gnats?

I let them get really light and wilt just a tad before I water. OG Biowar soil drench will take the gnats out. Hypoaspis Miles and Rove Beatles will guard your soil and eat the larvae.

    True one hitter quitter?

First time I smoked Master Kush I tried to smoke as much of the bowl as I could with a HUGE hit. I almost puked and was coughing spitting in the garden. I couldn't even talk for a bit. First time I got truely lit. Couldn't stop laughing. Permagrin status. Music sounded 3D. It was...

    Can anyone diagnose this?

Looks kinda like mites (not spider). They start at the edges and tips and can cause leaves to grow deformed or sometimes short leaflets. They are super hard to confirm, especially at really small population levels. What does your IPM consist of?

    My Breeding Project

This pheno really has my attention. I really like the smell of this one. Extremely rare pheno.

Yeah! It's Bud Worm Season. Pics

Assasin bugs did wonders for me last year. BT sprays ended up causing problems for me after a couple months. Assassin Bugs also completely got rid of a new type of grasshopper that was smaller and much more damaging than the regular ones.

    My Breeding Project

Not sure why some phenos came out so purple. And the phenos pictured seem much more Indica sturctured/leaved than either parent used in the BX1. Looks like I matched up an interesting recessive in the pairing. This is a few days before harvest. Buds smell spot on like Topanga which is trippy...

Can i graft a 10 in female top to a male rootstock.

I don't see a reason why you couldn't. It should only flower what it's genetics tell it to so multiple varieties per plant (and I'm sure different sexes as well). Would be very interested in your outcome.

    My Breeding Project

And of course last but not least is another really nicely structured good smelling male that I'm really liking the look and most importantly smell of. Branches like a champ, I've already cut a majority of it off to double check the smell (open pollination with only a few select males so far)...

And a larger structured and slightly later pheno.

    My Breeding Project

One of the chunkier Phenos I've been seeing in the seedline. Really stacks and has taken weeks of rain and rain still without a speck of mold. I'm definitely happy at how these are acclimating to the area. The Topanga makes unreal offspring and the BX1 shows a healthy amount of diversity...

    My Breeding Project

Well I'm in the middle of a medium sized pheno search of around 100 plants using the BX1 generation. 50+ mixed select outcross males from last year and 50+ of just my keeper male from last year. Just running through some stock looking for keepers and dumping any that even look at me wrong...

DLA8 Pure Afghan x 88G13HP by Bodhi. (Any info?)

They had a real nice look. About half had this crinkle leaf thing going on though. The smells were a bit too basic for my taste. I was expecting more complexity. I ran these as part of a male search, but I decided not to breed with the phenos I came across.

What is the most Euphoric and uplifting strain you have ever tried?

Get rooting those cuttings! Sounds fantastic

Also, when I said I culled runts earlier in the thread, I meant weak growers (flopping, stunting or general lack of vigor) and not slow growers. I actually prefer slow strong growers.

How to produce a male plant

Forget the STS, pop a ton of beans and get used to tossing plants out. More the better.

    Telling Sex By Smell

I have noticed it's harder to find complex smelling males, but I got one that's real complex and would throw your test off.
