    DIY with Quantum Boards

Yes, im using 100k pots and also do have some 10k resistors. I tested by disconnecting the pots entirely, which, my understanding is, sets drivers at 100%, which gives me about 290W each channel. Thanks for your reply.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Ah, that makes sense! I was actually planning on adding two more QB96 in the near future, the flexibility of adding more lights was one of the reasons I chose this QB96 setup to begin with. The 4 of them in a 5x5 is stretching it a bit, but two more will cover it pretty well I think. Thanks for...

They are maxed out in this photo, they will pull up to about 290w each once they are warm.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I did a new custom light setup for my 5x5 with 4 QB96s running on two Meanwell HLG-320H-54B, but each driver only puts out a maximum of about 290W according to my inline power meters. I've ruled out my pots as a cause but don't know why they aren't putting out closer to 320W each. Otherwise I'm...

    Club Quantum Board

I have a similar light, a DIY 2x QB288v1 on a HLG-240H-C2100 in a 2x4 - so a bigger area - and for veg i usually run up to about 200-220 watts, but if I flower in there, its turned up all the way.

    Club Quantum Board

Hey Tankerous - like the name. In my experience, growing under LEDs can seem to require a plant to consume more Calcium, and perhaps Magnesium as well, though its important to try to keep the two separate in strategy. If you have a solid organic mix and enough of it (often its recommended not...

It's so beautiful. . . . Also, the light is pretty cool. In all seriousness, I'm inspired to try to create something like that, I wonder if there is any market for that, locally.

Found a banana, time to pull?

Ill add a note that I've checked the plant over quite carefully throughout the grow and have not seen any hermaphroditic signs, so I should be in the clear.

Found a banana, time to pull?

Thanks for the info, @RangiSTaxi ! I was wondering about that. I've discarded the one banana I pulled, but I'm going to keep an eye out for more and if I find one, I'm going to try to pollinate a lower on the same plant and also try to save some. I've got a purple kush even further along in...

Found a banana, time to pull?

lime73, thanks!, I guess that was my first instinct, this plant is really doing well and still packing on weight. I'd hate to pull her too soon, but the banana freaked me out a bit.

    What’s up with these 2?

You mentioned growing in mushroom Compost, and it looks like you might have some perlite in there, but you might need more aeration, the roots could be drowning. How often and how much do you water? Do you get any runoff?

Found a banana, time to pull?

00 Seeds Bubblegum Auto. 78 days from seed, flowering for 46 days. 00 Seeds says flowering takes 55+ days. I found a single banana (so far), but as you can see from the pictures, she had put out a lot of new growth with white pistils. The new calyxes are less than 50% cloudy, but the older...

Weird Looking Norther lights - Powdery Mildew?

I should note that my affected plants were much bigger, and much less affected. I removed all areas that looked like you plant looks all over. It's unfortunate, but it's a good learning experience. Best advice is to run resistant strains outside and keep the sun on and the air flowing.

Weird Looking Norther lights - Powdery Mildew?

Yes and no. I would remove any branches heavily affected, and the affected leaves everywhere I found them. Then spraying with milk or MKP could mean that I don't see any more for a few days, but then it came back eventually. You can knock it down, but unless you are able to change the...

Weird Looking Norther lights - Powdery Mildew?

Yeah that looks like WPM. What exactly are you spraying in your plant? Sunlight and moving air will help. , I'm my fight, I had good luck with spraying milk, monopotassium phosphate, or water with a high pH (~9pH)

I started using BE right at the beginning of flowering, and kept my MC dose the same. Got pretty good results from my first indoor grow ever, even though I surely made mistakes here and there. My grows are linked in my signature.

2nd round: Indoor 2x4, QBs, LOS w/GPS, RQS, Seedsman, and a bonus Outdoor grow!

Here is my outdoor grow currently. Among the veggies, we have two Sky Dwellers and two Orange Blossom Specials from Greenpoint Seeds, and a Cheese from Seedsman. One SD and one OBS are in the ground. The other 3 are in 5G fabric bags. They all seem pretty happy, but the plants in the bags...
