    What’s your favorite glass site?

I agree with going direct to the artist but not all of them will sell to you and will just direct you to a glass shop that carries their stuff. Also, some artists are lazy as fuck when it comes to shipping. Have had multiple artists take a month or longer to ship out my glass. My go to shops...

So I'm pretty sure I'm banned from Target stores for life after today's transaction

Could have just waited for the confirmation email that your item was ready for pickup, but old people and technology right?

    Substitute for Gaia Green?

Once a month. Its different with dry amendments as they take some time to break down and become usable for the plant. A proper top dressing of amendments will last around 4 weeks.

    Substitute for Gaia Green?

No, it’s still 2tbsp per gallon I just spit it between the two amendments. So for my 7g pots, I do 14tbsp total but 7tbsp will be veg and 7tbsp will be bloom.

    Substitute for Gaia Green?

Exactly. I do use bottled EWC Tea a couple times throughout the grow but that’s too boost the microbes so other than that it’s just tap water with a pinch of Epsom. I like the EWC from Vermisterra, been using it for a few years now. They also make the bottled EWC tea I buy. Plants love the tea...

    Substitute for Gaia Green?

Yeah. I do things a bit different since I like to reuse my soil each time so I mix up two separate batches of soil. One for veg and one for early flower. I let each batch “cook” for 2-4 weeks before use. The veg batch gets 2tbs per gallon of the Premium Gold and EWC. The early flower batch...

    Substitute for Gaia Green?

Gaia Green is pretty hard to come by in the US. You can get it on Amazon but shipping is as much or more than the product. I use Dr. Earth dry amendments and love it. Premium Gold 4-4-4 for vegging and Flower Girl 3-9-4 for flower. I’ve heard great things about Down to Earth also.

How do you deal with hydrophobic soil?

I have a weed sprayer I use and it works great cause I can adjust the nozzle so it’ll spray a high pressure mist. Let it soak for a few and it should take in water a lot faster. A cover crop like White Clover or just covering it with straw will help keep the top layer from completely drying out.

    Humidity problem please help

It’ll be fine. It’s just a reflector so you might lose a little intensity from the light but that’s all.

Stripes in Leaves - What deficiency is this?

Definitely looks like the start of Magnesium deficiency. Those stripes will eventually turn rust colored and then the leaf will die. Start hitting them with the CalMag or some Epsom salt each time you water. Running LED at low temps can cause Mg deficiency. Raise those temps up to 27°-29° and...

UVB and UVA light suggestions ?

The Emerson Effect comes from adding Far Right or IR light and will increase the rate at which a plant grows. It does not boost resin production like UV. UV light is added at the end of the flowering stage to increase resin production in buds. RapidLED and HLG both sell a add on light bar that...

Led isn't agreeing with my plants

Not all strains are the same. Some are easily effected by low temps while others aren’t. But it’s a pretty simple diagnosis if your seeing Magnesium deficiency while using LED with low temperature. It could be that his water source is low in Mg but I doubt that as you would have seen this...

Led isn't agreeing with my plants

Magnesium deficiency probably caused from your temps being too low. Temps need to be 27-29°c or 80-84°f with LED or you need to foliar feed with Epsom salt regularly.

    Dimmable Important?

Oh my bad, didn’t see the 100w light. I wouldn’t waste time trying to flower under a 100w light in a 3x3. Either upgrade the light to properly match a 3x3(around 300w) or down size the tent to match the light.

    Dimmable Important?

Id get one that’s dimmable if you plan to use it for vegging and flowering. You don’t need 300w for veg and would be a waste of money/electricity.

Spider Farmer led grow light--less watts, more light

I need a SF1000 for my 2x2! I just popped some seeds a couple days ago and only have a 30w light which won’t be enough in a few weeks.

    Mass Medical Strains - EEEEE!

Haha love it! Let’s hope all of “his” stains get renamed. Ive got some Putang growing right now, was thinking about calling it “Strung Out” after seeing recent pics of the guy. Dude looks like a junky.

    Easy uv

RapidLED has a couple plug and play UVA options. They have a basic puck for $40 or a more advanced strip board for about $200(after added options). I use the puck in my 3x3 and like it. I am thinking about adding another one or replacing it with the more advanced strip here soon. I don’t have...

    2x spiderfarmer SF1000 in a 2x2ft - hanging height

It’s gonna be too much light for a 2x2, even if dimmed down. Id get 1 fixture and look into some side lighting for the rest.
