If I were you I wouldn't stress out too much comparing my grows to those of others. Just grow them to the best of your ability, learning everything you can as you go.

Ahh. Some do, dome don't. You might want to look at pics of plants at the 4th week of flower and compare. Obviously different strains, grower skill, and all that will affect things, but you might get a better idea where you are.

That's what I use, like the one on the left. You can get clearer images from pocket microscopes, but I just use my phone to look through the 60x eyepiece and I can see the trichs quite well.

Those two lights together should be good to flower a 4x4, and those dead leaves at the bottom of the plants are normal. Your plants are taking nutrients from leaves that aren't getting enough light. Are you counting flower from day of flip, or when you first saw buds forming?

They should be fairly close if grown under the same conditions by the same grower, but as they are living things there is no definite answer. I don't think you'll get massive variation, unless the genetics are relatively unstable, but it is possible.

I've grown moruga scorpions, the bhut jolokias I mentioned, and 7 pots, as far as superhots go. Congo red habaneros, orange habs, and assorted weaker hots. The superhots always grow slowly, habs a bit less so. I started all of them in February last year, and the Hungarian hots had peppers on...

I'm actually happy to see that slight red tint on the newest leaves as they emerge. I've only ever seen it on plants that turned out well. I'd be worried if it didn't fade to green, but as you can see it goes away pretty quickly.
