Can you make hash with leaves from plants that haven't flowered yet that had to be chopped? Or do the leaves have to come from fully mature plants?

i was just wondering how crucial an exact schedule of 12 hours light and 12 hours dark is. is it horribly bad if the lights get left on an extra hour or so or the dont get turned on at exactly the right time.

Put the lights as close to the sprouts as you can without the heat being too much. Compact fluorescents are realy good for this; they don't put out a lot of heat. The further away the lights are the further the plants will stretch to get more light.

i think that the roots are supposed to be bigger than that before you plant them. i believe that may be youre problem. if there are no roots, the plant has no way of obtaining nutrients from the soil and distributing them throughout the plant.
