That seems counter-intuitive to me (seeing as how nitrogen is for vegetative growth). Can you extrapolate on this point? How you know this to be true and possibly the mechanism behind it? If true it's a great piece of knowledge to have!

    24 hour light vs. 18/6.

Many living things don't sleep or take a down period, including mammals. Some animals rest half their brains while the other is awake. Some living things rest/sleep during the day, or both! I've heard of guys like this that want to simulate the moon cycles in their grow rooms and make sure the...

    Auto-flower pot size

Fair enough... just remember to divide the volume of your medium by the number of plants you are growing in it. You called 3 gallons a very tiny pot and that's exactly how much space you gave to your own plants... and you're using soil!

    Auto-flower pot size

Oh, so it's not that you're not feeding your plants, but you're soil growing and not adding water soluble nutrients! Then you need to know the minimum amount of organic fertilizer an auto plant would need for it's life cycle I guess. If you want to use small pots than you would need stronger...

questions about selective defoliation, light rating, lumen output, and LST

Leaves create energy for your plant. Cutting your plant causes it to put energy into healing and you're removed a part of its power source. Fan leaves don't create sugar for themselves, they do it for the growing parts of the plant. I only remove leaves to improve air flow. Rather, if you have...

    Auto-flower pot size

So you already have to use big pots anyways? Oh, your question is will using bigger pots cause smaller plants for auto's, but you want to use smaller pots, and you understand you can grow large plants in small pots, but that's irrelevant because you need to use larger pots... ...can you start...

https://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/cj-jp/cannabis/ "grow, from licensed seed or seedlings, up to 4 cannabis plants per residence for personal use" Although I agree, this will rarely be enforced, and in some cases unenforceable (depending on how loud and flagrant you are about growing unlicensed...

Best genetics/ breeder for white widow/ BD

I've had limited experience with it (grown it out a handful of times). I simply don't care for the taste of WW or any of the other White strains I've grown (White Rhino, White Shark...). I like the sweet, sour and skunky flavors, and tend to stay away from earthy/woody/peppery/piney flavors.

Good to hear. I hadn't heard much about Female Seeds but just picked some up on a whim. I believe the prices were right.

Best genetics/ breeder for white widow/ BD

Yes, Humboldt Seed Organization I believe. I grew just in a basic peat/perlite mix (Pro-mix HP). I tried uploading a picture but I keep getting errors.

Best genetics/ breeder for white widow/ BD

Never cared for White Widow, but I bought some Blue Dream seeds from HSO after a little research. Just finished it recently. Still too early to test but it smells amazing and was very easy to grow and seemed to love the nutes. Turned really dark blue at the end. I could have feed it a lot more...

    Canada Growers

Isn't it still technically illegal to grow strains not sanctioned by the government? You simply can't buy from whoever you want and you also can't grow seeds from anyone you want. They just started selling the first legal seeds/clones and they don't give any background into the genetic line they...

Help Me Choose My Next Strain

I've bought from them in the past but only the first two are from attitude. The others are from the True North Seedbank. Had a 50% off sale and I went crazy. That is only a fraction of what I got but these are what I've narrowed it down to.

Help Me Choose My Next Strain

The following is a list of seeds I've picked up recently. Heard much about, but have never tried the famous trio of GSC, Sour D and GG, so I went in that direction for some, plus I've always loved Blueberry crosses and Skunky Cheese strains. I've been growing a Blue Tuna strain for the last...
