Help Me Choose My Next Strain

The following is a list of seeds I've picked up recently. Heard much about, but have never tried the famous trio of GSC, Sour D and GG, so I went in that direction for some, plus I've always loved Blueberry crosses and Skunky Cheese strains. I've been growing a Blue Tuna strain for the last three years and decided it to put it to rest and try something new. Just harvested a Blue Dream plant from HSO and am excited to taste it as it was one of the tastiest I tried in that last couple years that wasn't one I grew myself (was amazed at how much fertilizer it wanted).

If anyone has any experience or recommendation from the following list I'd love to hear it!

Diesel - Dinafem

Girl Scout Cookies - Blim Burn

HSO,anything they sell from there is exactly what they describe in there description.

my next run will be HSO genetics.

second choice would prob be the gorilla bomb, read good stuff on that one too

I'm not a fan of HSO. Reserva Privida is good. I would got for that one. Don't even look at barney's. I don't really have any experience on the rest...but check out this thread

it looks like you’re ordering from attitude based on your choices. My opinion is there are better breeders than your choices..I’d do more research but it’s up to you.

I am about to order some HSO blue dream and 707 headband, what issues did you have with HSO?

i was deciding between HSO , Dinafem and Ethos genetics for next run.

I grew out 5 Truthband and they were junk. Yielded nice tight big buds.....but there was like 0 potency. It was as frosty as oregano. Huge disappointment. So I am turned off by them. After that experience I have only seen people really like their black dog, no really great reviews of anything else. They just seem too big and their catalog is so big I doubt it all could have been selected with care. I also was a big buyer and believer in European seed banks and bought from all the old names but they have really rested on their laurels and haven't done anything creative or new. US and Canadian "pollen chuckers" genetics are way better at this point (which is actually sad, they should have been way more innovative). I'm just done supporting anything over there...I have switched all to US banks and have had really excellent results.

Sorry OP , not trying to hijack, am in same boat as you, trying to find something good for next run.

At the moment im searching for feminized seeds only, do you have opinions on dinafem or ethos? was looking at remo chemo from dinafem and zsweet inzanity by ethos (also pricey)

I did have one strain in my cart that comes from a breeder you listed
Dark train Haze by rare dankness, they are pricey tho

I grew one truthband a few year ago and it finished in like 54 days and was some fire smelled like fruity pebbles was super frosty and had a great high! But then again someone told me I get lucky with phenos???

I did do a dinafem amnesia cbd and honestly it’s my favorite strain right now...and I usually don’t go that way. I like sativas. But the effect of it is really nice and relaxing and uplifting...it’s a nice feel good day strain that no one will know you are smoking...if you want to get screwed up this isn’t the strain for you. I grew something else from them a bunch of years ago but I forget...the fact that I don’t remember is a good thing because I tent to remember the losers a lot more.

Ethos no clue on sorry.

I grew out massmedicals star pupil s1s recently and that turned out really good...nice unique taste and smell and beautiful too (if you care about that...I really don’t care but if you are selling you might) You can see my last couple grows on IG magrowers.

Yea ...maybe I got really unlucky (5 plants and nothing remotely ok? Not even a shadow of what it should be) I’m glad you got something great! I get something bad and I never go back....and that’s because I got screwed by Barney’s 3 times....because when I was just starting out and kept buying the hype. Maybe that is dumb of me....but honestly these last few years I haven’t had horrible (except hso) so it’s worked out...

Really maybe I just picked a strain that just ok and didn’t vibe with me. I could have had better luck with something else (but I’m still not going to try them again unless someone I know has great results)

Just looked at the ethos thread and IG and now I am interested...I will probably check them out next year...this year I already have my lineup but thanks for putting them on my radar.

I've bought from them in the past but only the first two are from attitude. The others are from the True North Seedbank. Had a 50% off sale and I went crazy. That is only a fraction of what I got but these are what I've narrowed it down to.

The worst beans I ever bought was just a few weeks ago,i bought g13 from dr, green thumb in Canada and NOT EVEN ONE SEED WOULD SPROUT out of 11 seeds and the doc clamed I did not sprout them wright.i told him I was not a kid just starting to grow I been growing over 43 years and any dumb ass could sprout seeds if there good.I also bought IAF and got 2 of them to pop out of 11 just like the g13 the beans must have been every old and he will not stand behind his garntee and he hung up on me when I called and told him he sent me old beens.He will never get a penny from me or any one I know now and the doc.is the bigest prick I have ever tried to talk to FUCK DR, GREEN THUMB IN CANADA AND I hope this saves some one there money and time to not buy his shit beans.

I popped two 5 packs of Lost Coast OG from HSO. None of them germed. Kinda turned me off from them. I've run a few things from female seeds and found some really nice plants. Chem OG is being run by a good buddy right now. It looks and smells absolutely amazing.

Good to hear. I hadn't heard much about Female Seeds but just picked some up on a whim. I believe the prices were right.
