Question, how long does medicated butter last in the freezer without losing potency, and being safe to use? I made some butter about a year ago, and forgot about it. Want to know if it is safe to use, and will it keep it's potency?

I collapsed a lung, and let me tell you this is some painful shit. Had to have tubes out into my chest wall to get the air out of my chest cavity so my lung could fill up with air again. Still not out of the woods yet, but at least I am out of the Hospital :)
