    Dealing With Wind Damage?

Thank you (hoping you were talking to me?) :) (there are members here with way better plants then me to be fair). Now that they've actually started flowering they look even bigger and bushier. I've grown for 2 decades inside in a very small space (a 5' tall tent) so I figured since I'm doing...

    Dealing With Wind Damage?

I drilled holes into the top lip of these pots and drove 4 x 6' metal stakes through each pot to anchor the pots into the ground and give some anchors to tie some branches to as you'll see in the pics I've attached. They look better then the pics make them out to be, I am poor at photography...

    Dealing With Wind Damage?

That looks pretty good, how do you keep those poles uh .. fixed though? Like without a base it just seems like they would just move with the wind, just dragging the whole plant with it, maybe i'm just being a stoner and mis-understanding how your setup prevents the wind from just pulling all 4...

They have recovered quite a bit from what they looked like yesterday, but they are still pretty mangled, just took a pic.

    Dealing With Wind Damage?

This is my first attempt at growing outdoors and I was not anticipating the wind to do so much damage during a storm, or even just the daily breeze/wind. It has torn one of the plants at the main stem (which I've taped back together with duct tape) and as you can see in the pic it's torn and...

    Kratom

The best way to consume Kratom (IMO) is to fill up 000 capsules with it like you can buy here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=000+capsules&_sacat=0 Don't rely on information you read on the mayo clinic website that doesn't even have any citations for...

    Canna coco??

Fair enough, I only grow a few plants between 2-4 and I have a nice greenbelt behind my house that I'm sure the trees there would be happy to take my used peat after a grow :).

    Canna coco??

Oh so he's doing it everywhere, fuck i was confused why he linked a post card from an ugly city in North Carolina in one of my threads. Anyways, canna coco is great stuff, do not run RO water through it, that would uh, unbuffer it. You only want to run a solution with nutrients through it but...

Amendments to ProMix HP + GH Flora Trio (+Calmag)

Ok thanks i'll take a look, are you talking about dry silica amendments to add to the peat? I've been hesitant to add silicate salts to my nutrient mixes in my last few grows because it really throws the pH off and as it stands with just tap water and using the GH trio the pH comes out to a...

Amendments to ProMix HP + GH Flora Trio (+Calmag)

Does anyone with experience growing in ProMix HP know if there is anything else i should add to it, or will the General Hydroponics Flora trio (Grow/Micro/Bloom) with some applications of CalMag cover all the plant needs? I know it says it has myco on the label but there's no way to know how...

    Auto watering help needed.

I only have 2 plants in large 17" wide planters (like 10 gallons each) but tbh i think any problems you might run into would be based on distance from the pump and imo in your case i think it would be better to put ball valves in between each plant, that way you can more control the flow. a bit...

    Auto watering help needed.

    Best Pro-Mix .. mix?

I've been using Pro-Mix HP (which has mycorrhizae in it) for my last 2 grows and have found it to be great stuff. I got a packet of mycorrhizal inoculant for really cheap recently and was wondering what people's experiences with other pro-mix mixes are like, ones that don't already come with...

    Auto watering help needed.

I just bought some of those hydro halo watering rings and they work pretty good, cheap and most important easy. Now if only i didn't choose an 800gph pump they might actually drip (vs high velocity spray)

    Are growing rooms really benefitial?

Not everyone lives in California where it's always sunny lol. There are benefits such as security from theft, controlled environment, you can optimize space and light usage by employing lst/scrog etc. more rigourously indoors, you can prevent pests and/or mold that you would find outside.

    Another watering question...

you want to water in coco only multiple times a day because coco has greater oxygen saturation when it's wet and it drains quickly enough that it won't flood and kill the roots. in any other medium watering multiple times a day would be bad. You can cycle just water to water with nutrients...
