Amendments to ProMix HP + GH Flora Trio (+Calmag)

Does anyone with experience growing in ProMix HP know if there is anything else i should add to it, or will the General Hydroponics Flora trio (Grow/Micro/Bloom) with some applications of CalMag cover all the plant needs?

I know it says it has myco on the label but there's no way to know how old the bale is it how it was stored, so would addition of fresh myco be beneficial?

GH Flora and Calmag is complete. I also use silica supplement like Roots SiO2 or DynaGro Protect. Additional Myco and beneficial bacteria will be good.

Ok thanks i'll take a look, are you talking about dry silica amendments to add to the peat?

I've been hesitant to add silicate salts to my nutrient mixes in my last few grows because it really throws the pH off and as it stands with just tap water and using the GH trio the pH comes out to a pretty much perfect 6.0 without any need for adjustment.

When I use silica products, I add them to the nutrient mix. The Dynagro Protect does raise the pH. The Roots SiO2 is dry, and it does not change the pH. Silica is not absolutely necessary. I'm no plant scientist, but my understanding is that it helps strengthen the cell walls.
