HBBum- E&F Chernobyl and Fruit Juice

Did a partial harvest last week(72 days), chopped off the top half and I am letting the bottoms go a couple weeks longer since they didn't get much light penetration. I have never done this before, but so far pretty happy with how the remainder has been filling out. Took 6 days to get dried...

HBBum- E&F Chernobyl and Fruit Juice

Thanks man, this E&F set up is really hands off. Been traveling a lot and really only check on it every 3-4 days, sometime longer when on the road. PH is staying right where I needs it and minimal PPM shifts. Only thing I wish I had done differently is only put in 3 instead of 5, there is not...

HBBum- E&F Chernobyl and Fruit Juice

Just over 7 weeks. Changed time to 12-12 (from 13-11), and will keep it there until harvest. Judging form the look of things I have about 3-4 weeks left.

    RDWC water change question.

I've got a 20gal res and do a full rez swap a week after I flip the lights, half way through flowering and about a week before harvest. Other than that, I just do top offs as needed as long and my PPM and PH is staying in range. I have not had any problems going this route, though I have heard...

47 days of flowering, a bit of a problem with height, but I think they are coming along nicely.

HBBum- E&F Chernobyl and Fruit Juice

20 days since flip, nearly out of room. Did a rez swap a couple days ago. Stems are super thick, but I really need to do only 3 plants in this space since it is over crowded in a 2x4 with 5.

HBBum- E&F Chernobyl and Fruit Juice

8 days since flip. Was out of town for a few day, which made me a bit nervous since I just flipped, but I love coming back to see the change. Overall my PPM stayed the same(1050) over the 4 days, and they drank about 6 gallons.

    Water wieght

When I grow in soil, I use a screen so lifting the pots is not really an option. What I do then is just sick my finger into the soil about 2.5" and if it feels dry all the way down to the tip of my finger, I water.

Thanks HH, really liking the ebb and flow. Been pretty hands off even compared to soil.

Does Paint Odor Negatively Effect Plant?

Well I would be spray painting your grow room with your plants in there, but as long as you let it dry a few hours with your extraction fan going, the fumes will be minimal to none.

Does Paint Odor Negatively Effect Plant?

You should have good ventilation in there, just let it it vent a few hours if you can't wait until after the grow to paint. It will be fine though.

DWC grow. please send feedback, tips and help with my first grow. not a noob but not a pro! TY!

I did rdwc for my first hydro try, switched to ebb and flow and prefer that for simplicity. Don't be afraid od hydro, just keep an eye on the pH and use an enzyme to prevent slime in your res. I'm sticking with ebb and flow for the foreseeable future, fits my style and easier for me that soil...

    Soil to soilless

I was intimidated by hydro at first also, after running it a few rounds I find it much easier than soil. Less fussing with teas and repotting, easy to correct issues and easier feeding. If you have a good size rez, I only need to check once or twice week and swap every 2-3 weeks.

    WHEN TO SWITCH ?!?!?

Have you recently transplanted to bigger pots? They spend a lot of energy Filling out the roots at this phase, once well established they will start going vertical, and the first couple weeks after you flip they will really take off vertically.

Switching back to some heavy sativas, I find that indicas are my least favorite to trim. Here are some Chernobyl and Fruit Punch that have been in veg for 3 weeks:

Yeah, if you dont leave them in the fridge long enough they will sweat out a bit. That stops after they are done though.
