Still working on it 3 days per week. Take a lot of time. I will release it on gitlab once it's stable

To configure the RPI, it must be connected to internet. But after, if the RPI isn't connected anymore to the internet, it will keep the old config until it get connected again. You won't be able to see the log though.

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

Hi there, the end of 2018 wasn't easy at all for me, sorry for the delay. I'm trying to start working again on Koada this Monday. Thinking about removing the very tricky trigger system and release the software. If this is fully stable, I'll release the trigger & co2 system later in the year.

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

Hi there! I just took one week off because this year was very stressful! I'm sorry for the lack of answers. We're currently working on the last feature, but the biggest: The triggers: We migrated the project from Trello to Gitlab because no one ever used it beside the developers... I...

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

Thank you very much for your interest! We're building and selling them in Switzerland. We're using this insane tape to held the leds strip to the aluminum frame. We're thinking about adding a third aluminum flat profile in the center and put the 2 others more at the edge of the light to improve...

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

A lot of things are going on! The first software beta is almost finished. The MeanWell PCB is currently in production but the factory has some delays... (Nothin alarming thought) We're currently working on the Co2 controller: We also receive the first aluminum boxes and the relays for the...

    Broken trichromes?

I have the same plant outside, they do not have those special "broken" trichrome... And they do are milky

    Broken trichromes?

I have one NL and one White Widow and all the trichomes seems broken... I'm watching them with a 120x microscope and they all look like this: Some are a little bit amber but I don't have cloudy trichomes because there is no Sphere at the end of the trichrome... Why? Sometimes the...

No, this only the card that allows us to control Meanwell driver. It's optional if you don't have Meanwell driver. In our box, we're using the reliable raspberry pi zero w. But you can use any Raspberry pi/board that support i2c / GPIO. Sorry, we don't have a site for now. We're focusing on...

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

4 little pics of our 5x new 600w no heatsink 4x4 light we built today. We'll use those lights to beta test Koada! We're running them very softly, so it does not produce any heat and the plant can touch the LED without even being burnt. The PPFD is obviously very high & uniform in the 4x4...

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

Just a small update: We are waiting for our Koada PCBs to be made in the USA, it should take 3-4 days before shipping & we'll send news for the beta at the end of the month.

Thank you for the support Randomblame! We have a lot of demands from the US. So we will probably organize a second round of the hardware beta for people living outside of the EU!

Please add this everywhere... Like in the led section we have multiple light project / comparisons & it's very annoying to find any update in the thousands posts.

Hey, would it be possible to increase or remove the limit of time to edit our posts? It's not really convenient for grow journal, project etc... Thank you very much!

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

You're sadly right. We cannot provide a local server for multiples reasons: As I said before, we're sadly forced to generate some revenues & our priority is the Koada box. We have to create something plug & play and very easy to use. We have developed an Android/Ios app that connects to the...

Koada project (Open-source LED Controller / automation)

We're currently starting the production of our PCB that allows to control up to 16x Meanwell driver & 8x relay without any additional power supply. We're still figuring out how we will distribute this project. We came to the conclusion that we just can't maintain different version of the...
