1.5 weeks flowering...question

Hows everyone doing? I love it here, I have learned so much so I owe everyone here a thank you!! I have 3 beautiful plants right now in an aeroponics system based on one of the DIYs running around here. I put them into flower 11 days ago by switching to 12/12 and giving them some flower nutes. I was wondering if I should see sex by now because I cant tell at all at this point. The plants look extremely healthy to me, what you guys think? I got a few decent pics for yall. Oh yeah they are sitting under a 400w HPS. The first picture here is yesterday and the next is today. They are growing crazy fast. The last 3 were taken just now

my old eyes can't see that well - but maybe if you focus in on where the red circles are drawn (or other nodes on the plant - looking for a couple of little hairs)...

I tried to get as close as I could in this one...maybe I just need to give them some more time??

one thing i've noticed when those 2 little spike things curl downward then it usually shows sex shortly afterwards.

Look at my plant, see the little white hair thingies? Now check out the pic with balls, you can tell the difference.

yea it looks a little too soon....but fast growth is a good sign its female...males grow very slow typically..

That is good to know! There is one of them that isnt keeping up at all with the other two so I am going to keep a close eye on him/her

im at the end of my 3rd week and i finally can tell which ones are which. idont recall seing anything untill i was well in my second week of flowering. Give it a few more days to a week and you'll know for sure.

my limited experience has been the exact opposite. The males shoot up really fast whereas the females tend to grow a bit slower (though thicker and bushier). I think the males have to develop faster cause they need to release pollen before the female buds start ripening (otherwise - no seeds).

Alright then I'm going to keep this thread updated with pics every couple of days

Count the nodes from the bottom up.

You should see sign of sex on the 8th node,
right where the petioles appear.

Took your advice earl and counted up 8 nodes. Here are some pics I just took. Right now we are sitting about 13 days flowering. First 3 pics are of plant 1, last 2 pics are of plant 2. I think

*edit* My thoughts are plant 1 is male(bastard) and the other is a lady

still cant tell.

I have to agree with email468, my males showed signs 1 week before the female. You will see the preflowers forming at the top nodes on the plant. I just saw my first pair of white hairs this morning. But the males were showing about 3 days after 12/12. Also the males were like 3" taller and shooting up faster with longer internodes.

This is very interesting now...as you can see hear in the pic there is one plant(back right) that is significantly shorter than the other 2. As of this morning I have found white hairs on both of the tall ones but no hairs on the short one yet. If the small one is in fact a male, how long do they take to pollinate my ladies? They are making great advancements every day so I will keep updating this thread

You may have all females. Just hope they aren't hermies though. What is the strain?

usually the male is bigger, if you are showing pre-flowers on the bigger ones then your little one is most likely a fem too, just a couple a days behind

I bought the Skunk #11 fem seeds from dutch passion but from what I have read that doesn't necessarily mean you will get fems...correct? I am kind of confused about hermies...what are the characteristics of one?

if they are fem seeds most likely they will be babes
You need to be carefull not to stress them i.e. NO light-leeks during flowering! It can trip them out (climate, they will go into survival of the species mode and pollenate themselves)
