I'm having the same problem.... I was using tap water and I think that's what is wrong, too much crap in the tap water. I got a R.O. system today from Lowes for $155, easy to install and just as an initial test during the purge i got 50 ppm, whereas my tap water is 430ppm... hopefully tomorrow after the purge is done ( takes 24 hrs ) the ppm count will be under 10. I'll let you know.

I gave my buddy 2 plants from my crop, he has them growing in the same conditions that I do. He uses filtered water and the 2 plants are doing awesome, I've been using tap and mine have started to show problems.

Make sure you calibrate your ppm and ph meters often too, I checked my Hannah ppm/ph meter and ph was off by a full point today, but my milwaukee ph meter is what i use for ph and it is dead on. Also make sure you you have storage solution for you meters, if you're using handhelds like me :)

i had the same problem as well except i have a plant that's a week or two younger than the other three. only the large three have a big issue with rust spots and leafs yellowing and dieing. i got these plants as starts as a friend and i think it may be some sort of disease but it could also be some sort of nutrient lock out. have you tried worm tea or any other kind of anti disease additive? or perhaps looking up micro and macro nutrient deficiency pictures?

dude lower your ph to about 6 (not real crucial in dirt but helps) flush your soil with about 300ppm lots of run off and start with fresh nutes.. also lack of light to lower leaves will sometimes cause similar problems... as far as the "RO" is conserned if your using dirt no worries man with 100ppm tap.. im hydro and my tap is 600ppm, GOOD LORD!!! thats high so i need one fo sho.. good luck

i think it may be root rot , come to think of it that plant specificly never drained as well
as the others , even with suplemental 1' holes drilled . harvest is 2-3 weeks away for a total of 9-10 weeks dunno if shell last . the next 2-3 week flush will tell . Thanks all for the help in this multi - faceted single problem .. ahh well ill smoke a bowl for each of you that helped :) cheers
