I'm planning on growing 1 plant under a 250w blue spec cfl during veg then change the light to a 250w red spec cfl for flower. I'll be growing headband, roughly what yield should i expect to achieve? I was hoping for at least 1 ounce but whats your opinion? Thanks

I would get a 125w bulb and then get a couple smaller ones to equal out to 250w. The smaller ones you can then position to where ever there most needed.

I think an Oz is quite achievable with a well-managed grow. Make sure you consider everything the plant needs to flourish and apply some LST to it, and you should be fine.

What are the dimensions of your grow space? Growing media?

I'm growing a single plant (AK-47) under 250W of CFLs (2 x 125W Maxibright bulbs) and a little over a month into flowering. I'd be disappointed with less than an ounce off this one plant.

Keep us updated with your grow.

Ehhhh I wouldn't count on an ounce too much... Well, eh it all depends... Seeing as you have one major bulb that won't let the light cover your whole plant. I would definitely recommend returning the 250w bulb and get 2x125w then put those 2 bulbs in AND your 1x125w of the other spectrum.
