#1 how close can I put my CFLs to my auto during the 3 stages (seed/veg/flower)?

#2 Do I risk harming my plants if they are too close?

#3 will scrog help my plants consume more of the cfl light I provide?

CAN I PLEASE HAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ONLY?( IM VERY EXCITED TO GROW MY PLANTS AND DONT Want TO BE DISCOURAGED BECAUSE I DONT KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING YOU MAY.) Thanks in advance every 1!:bigjoint:

How much is each bulb, the other prob with cfls is they are only good foe a few harvest before the light degrades
I have 5x60 watt bulbs =300W(and 900 lumens per bulb...and 3x23Watt bulbs =69W(but lumens are 1640(first bulb) ,1600(2nd bulb) and 1640(3rd bulb)

Wait so why do they advertise 60 watts
They advertise "equivalent watts" for a comparison of incandescent bulbs to make upgrading easier, but that's that. It's got to have the actual wattage printed on the bulb/box somewhere?

800lm is gonna be a 13-15w cfl. A 60 actual watt cfl puts out around 4-5k a piece.

130 actual watts should do you fine with a small plant, Imo atleast 250 watts is recommend for flowering.

Hopefully I can save you a headache here before you get too far along. Before you start figuring out how to wire up a 10 bulb setup, consider that there are much better bulbs for growing than the ones that you have chosen. In that GrowWeedEasy article that I referenced earlier, they show how you can grow under 4 bulbs (and they include the links to order them). I'd rather wire up a 4 bulb than a 10 bulb system. I don't do CFLs, but just trying to help.

I tried to paste the links below...she recommends two of each bulb.
