THAT'S RIGHT WEVE BEEN THERE DONE THAT 12/12 TEST TRIED AND TRUE

Jesus I'm not saying 12/12 isn't the best way to produce buds. All I am saying is that if you give them more darkness (10/14, 11/13) they bud faster, not necessarily bigger or better.

thanks for all the input guys i think i will just stick with the 12/12 im a newbie grower and was just wondering about the different cycles thanks

There's a reason we go 12/12. They need light too!

i run 10/14 , plants only need 8 hours of light to photo
10/14 will help them finsh alil faster but with a smaller yield , plus save on power bill

I do it once in a while. With 4 weeks left (roughly) until harvest I switch from 12/12 to 11/13 then with 2 weeks left I go 10/14. Doing it with this one.
Sour Diesel, about 5 days left. Don’t do it every time. Figure if it possibly increases THC ?? and saves some on my electric bill...win win.

8/16 for week 8-12 on haze strains and feed until week 10-11. Just saying

Only real loss is stopping the feeding at week 6 to flush 14 days like most do.

I can say for a fact that I have been doing 10-14 for at least 5 years now and it works very well and saves on the power bill a lot. I am attaching a few photos from the grow I am doing now and these pics are 31 days in and about 25-30 to go. I have read the science behind it in " Medical Growing : A garden of Peace " by Daniel Boughen. After reading the information I dove in head first and have not looked back on my choice as a bad one. It will work, 10/14, 11/13, 12/12 and 13+/10+.
Indoors I start at 24, then 12/12 for a while then I increase the time for lights on to 13 or 13.5 hours for a little over half the flowering time.

It doesn't hurt the power bill that much and it does seem to help yield significantly. It also helps with the ambient temperature of our house in the winter. We dump some of the air from the mh and hps into the basement and some to the garage. I should also mention that my lights are on at night to help with heating,when it's coldest, during the winter. I grow outdoors in the summer.

I'd search the forums.

I'd also check up on flushing, apparently toilets do it.
