by the way xebeche i know you were wanting to hear about the dinafem freebie and thus far in proportion to it's age its impressed me the most. its not going to yeild alot because i screwed it with a bad nute schedule but it definitely has the most trichome production for it's age and the actual pistils are so thick it freaked me out the first time i realized, they aren't like wispy white hairs they are like thick pieces of white string

Sounds interesting, is that the Sour Kush? I noticed something similar on one of my strains this past grow, maybe not as thick as string but def thicker than I'm accustomed to. I agree, it's kinda freaky at first, but I got used to seeing it and as the buds matured it became more "normal" looking.

Observations
The younger AI is one hell of a pheno, it's bigger than every other plant although it's the youngest and it's preflowers have leaves bigger than other plant's fan leaves, hope it turns out well. The two older AIs are probably going to yield two grams each, they were incredibly picky with nutrients and lost many fan leaves. The hash plant is really resinous and probably my second favorite behind the sour kush which is finally strarting to show brown pistils and thus its countdown to cutdown begins:)

That Sour Kush does look tasty, Kap10. Not much longer to go...

I've never grown 12/12 from seed. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for your buds to be "ready"...and how it compares to the breeder's recommendation. I'm thinking it might take a little longer...but that's just a guess. Probably it's just academic anyways...I've seen some recommended flowering times that were way off. In the end, it's best to let the buds tell ya when it's time, imo.

DNA Sour Kush is a one time deal from DNA Genetics. Sour Kush is a cross between Bubba Kush and Sour Diesel. Sour Kush is a 9 week strain that has an good yield and has alot strength and taste.
Both parents of this strain are considered Head stash by many, so this is a special cross that will only be put out this one time just for The Attitude!!!

so 9x7=63 which would be may 9th but i'm agreeing with you and estimating more like may 18th

Best way to tell would be to use a 30x (or better yet, 60x) magnifier/loupe to evaluate the color of the trichome heads. You can decide for yourself whether you want more or less amber (or none at all) once you get nearer to the finish line. People's tastes vary, so there's no real "rule" that everyone adheres to.

I forget (and too lazy to look back in the thread)...have you got any clones from these plants?

I can't wait to see the final results Kap10 I never grew 12/12 from seed either. I have with clones before, looks pretty similar as far as how they shoot up in 12/12.

Looking good will be chopping soon my friend. :)

subd up........lookin good, i got a white dwarf auto bout 2 weeks and thinkin bout movin it outside and startin some lsd 12/12. i like the small pots to keep small cuz im vertically challenged myself. how tall are ur plants exactly?

Kap10Kush

1ft 3in - 10in, my youngest plant is the talles is the odd thing about that, i'd say on average its 1ft across the board. be careful moving your plant outside because if the sun dosen't come up where u live at around the same time your lights turn on the stress could herm your plant (been there, done that)

and Xe nah i've never tried to clone anything but it would be nice to have a mother to just snag clones off and throw em in the box so i didnt have to pay for seeds, worry about differing genetics, and they wouldn't have to stretch from seed. huh, now that i write all that ill have to brainstorm a bit haha

Yep, I predict you're gonna be building another box very soon Kap10

After all, you never know when you'll find that one special lady in a pack of seeds. Problem is, you won't know she's special until you smoke some of her dried flowers. But if you can root some cuttings from her before flowering (and have the space to keep them alive until you harvest their mom), you'll have duplicates available so you can grow her again and again, for as long as you want.

The key is to have enough room to keep 'em for at least a whole flowering cycle.

Observations
The sour K is about 60% brown pistils so it's definitely on it's way, it's also turning purple and i haven't even began to flush it so who knows why. I believe it will be chopped on the 16th because i'm going for more of a knockout smoke.
The hash plant has come out of nowhere to be a pretty sweet plant and if i had done better with it it may have rivaled the sour kush for sure. couldnt get a good picture but veryyy resinous leaves and i will probably be purchasing these seeds on my next seed run. it will come down a week after the sour kush goes.

Looking beautiful man, can't wait to get a 150w hps. how many plants do you have under a single 150w?

Edit: is it still 10?

thanks so much!!
currently i have 8 but i think at this size it could easily support 10-12 from 12/12 from seed. i really enjoy my 150hps because the heat is surprisingly minimal and with a good reflector it has great coverage, if your in the states i recommend htgsupply.com

been taking samples of the chronic (greedy i know but i dont wana touch the hash or sk) and even with it being a little early, and quick drying, its a decent stone no doubt, totally heady, not the best taste but all it takes is some your ice in your bong to fix that :D

It'll probly be twice as good when it's the right time, and dried and cured properly. I've noticed a HUGE difference in quality (and overall medicinal effects) after a 4-6 week cure. Still, I almost always take "samples" along the way when I grow a new strain. It's too tempting to wait...

Sounds good....can't wait to order me a 150w to put in my grow space...I'm not gonna lie I havn't read up a lot on anything other than some Lux/Lumens info, but have you thought about trying CMH? if your ballast is magnetic all you need is a bulb. Riddleme has a 170+ page thread with all kinds of crazy CMH info, but I've been reading through it the past couple of days, I can give you page numbers on the info if you want.

CMH is a great idea, imo...I acquired a 250w CMH bulb that I plan to use in my 250w hps fixture. BUT a 150w CMH bulb will likely NOT work in a 150w HPS magnetic ballast. Last time I checked, the available 150w CMH bulbs required an ANSI M-142 or M-102 ballast, while the standard ballast used in a 150w hps of this type is probably an S55. At the very least, if you're thinking of trying this, you should carefully check the specs on your ballast and lamp to make sure they're compatible...if they're not, then I wouldn't recommend even TRYING to run it. Generally the 250 and 400-watt CMH bulbs are compatible with the corresponding magnetic ballasts, but any CMH bulb under 250w needs a MH-type (pulse start) ballast in order to function.

lovin all this good info, i've read a little bit about CMH and i've decided if i was ever to change my HID, it would probably be to a 250w CMH. However, for now i'm working on a few different things to make round 2 a much more efficient grow. i appreciate you guys hangin out, your advice is worth it's weight in bud :D
