10 weeks still not done

10 weeks into flower been flushing for 7 days today thinking that it would be done but alas still have lots of new growth. Any one want to chime in with their
thoughts on the matter. BTW my new air scrubber pretty much kills the smell completely. I used to have it vented through my water heater but i could smell it coming up the hill to my place. Now it is washed through ona and presto no smell.

Just flush for 2 weeks like your suppose to. They should be ready by the look of the one picture i saw in a week The box looks nice but pics of the actual buds would be better so we can see what they really look like and might be able to give more advice on there status. Anyway the one bud i saw looks almost done. My advice from what i could see is to flush 1 more week and then cut
 
Ok guys 1 to two more weeks depending on how they look. Next grow will be with HPS.

Materials include an 18 gal rubbermaid bucket and some 3" ABS pipe and 90's. install pipe and 90's as shown silicone shut the bucket, add water to cover 75
% of the pipe add ona gel, put a dryer sheet over the outlet for extra protection and either vent outside or leave exhaust in room. presto no more smell.

If your blower is strong enough you can cover the pipe with water and make a true scrubber...mines not.

Wait so you have a pipe that goes in. Then one that is submerged in the water? And one that goes out to the outside. You add the ona gel to the water? As you can see I'm very interested in putting one of these together. Also what is 90's?
 
back to the bud... Judging by the one picture of the buds it looked done. The pistils have recceded completely and they look pretty tight. What do the trichs look like? I'd say chop!
 
Go the extra 7-10 days, you won't be dissopointed. And on another note, you have quite a nice looking lady there. I don't think I've seen as nice a grow with only CFL's.

90's are plumbing fittings that make a 90 degree turn, so I'll try and explain better. In the lid of the bucket you will cut two holes on opposite sides of each other, also offset them. Assemble the fittings and pipe as shown in diagram. Fill the bucket until the water level is 3/4 of the way up the horizontal section of the pipe. Attach lid after applying much silicone around the edges. Seal pipe holes in lid with tape or putty or silicone. you could even add an air stone to aerate the water further. Connect vent pipe from grow box and your done. Outflow can be expelled outside or back into the room. Hope this clears things up. I will try to make a better diagram later today.

Trichs are showing mostly cloudy, but I'm more concerned with yield at the moment, I need the weight so I can get some better lighting for my perpetual grow.

Thanks for the kind words, first grow, trying to figure it all out. Thought I might make CFL's work for a perpetual medical grow but I'm going HID as soon as possible. And I will probably harvest next Friday.

Wow, you made a sortof ona bucket/scrubber hybrid. This way you don't need a super high cfm fan either... nice.

yep it works well so far.
 
so i attach the 6" ducting to the 3" pipe? would a 435 cfm fan work with this and still keep a 8x8x8 grow room ventalated?

you can use any size pipe you want i guess, i just used 3" because i had it. I think your fan would be fine but im no expert on ventilation. I just sit around looking at my ladies thinking shit up to try and make the operation run smoother. This idea hit me the other day and it seems to be working, so I'm trying it out. Rubbermaid bucket=$5, 3" abs pipe $10, 2 3" ABS fittings $7 so for around $25 bucks you could give it a try and see how it works for you.

Not sure what the ratio would be, when you get the gel you will understand, it smells a lot. Good luck, thanks for the nice words.
