10 wks flowering hybrid

I am at the 10 week mark and seeing a few amber trichs but by no means a % at this point....I am wondering is it unusual for a plant to flower this long? I had lock out issues in veg but remedy'd that....not counting the "stretch" time it's 10 weeks, I have been giving it extra dark hrs and cooler temps in hopes of getting more amber happening...there is very little leaves left on the plant but there are 2 spots on the main colas that have new white hairs...more amber visible on the side buds, what do I do or what would you do? Thanks for any response...1 st grow!! Got 2 clones from this plant in week 6, looking normal at this time....

Dude some strains go 14 weeks + in flowering. If you remedied the problem quickly enough it just sounds like you have a slow finishing sativa. I wouldnt do anything but let them finish up.

Do you mean continue with lighting for 12 hrs a day or less.....I do believe it may be Sativa but it's a hybrid of both Ind/Sat....I guess it's leaning more towards Sativa! lol I gave it 24 hrs of darkness at boxing day but now have gone back to lights but not directly on the plant....other plant isues so I just put her in the room with the others just not directly under...and have been giving it plain water for 2 weeks now. Cheers!

Yea just continue your 12/12 schedule until they fill in. You are experiencing why I only like pure indica strains lol. Currently I run mazar kush that finishes in 8-9 weeks of flowering. I would never want to grow a sativa indoor unless I had a huge setup.

Any amber at all is a sign of degradation and is a clue to chop. If a sativa the buds may never fill in like an indica and waiting for them to do it is useless. But you're the one looking at it.

That's what I figured as well...I just kept giving it 1 more watering, 1 more 1 watering....but now feel it may be time to chop...so I will let it dry out a tad and then chop...it's what the Cdn govt is giving as the only strain of med mj....mediocre quality, but I hope by finishing late I can improve it somewhat...did molasses for quite a few waterings, seemed to bulk them up nicely! Regards friend!

Imported Photos 00222.jpgHere a pic of the plant in question.....I fimmed it so it has multiple colas and unfortunately a wee spot where lights got too hot....but I feel it looks pretty good even if it's a sativa hybrid any ideas how much I will yield?
