100 or 200 gallon final pot?

I've got my girl currently growing in a 20 gallon pot, and she's about ready to transplant. She's a blackjack clone I got in late March, trying to figure out whether she'd benefit from going with a 200, or if I should save the money and go for a 100. I recommend just dropping that fabric pot into a 200 gallon without trying to take it out of the fabric 20 gal unless you’re going to cut it open I have had very poor success with fabric pots transplanting and the roots gtow straight through the fabric pots with no problems

Not true I just transplanted 20 gallon to 45 very easily they roll right off did it by myself as well.

If you want it really smoothly roll about half way down on all sides than til the plant roll that side little further slide you're hands inside the pot and lift and have the 2nd person carefully break free any roots. But this can be done alone easy

I managed to get her out of a 5 gallon fabric into the 20 just fine rolling it. She seemed completely unbothered by the process.20200524_195639_resized.jpg

Also keep in mind fabric pots will air prune you're roots reducing circling and producing more roots so that being said really how long are you planning to grow those things. I'm a total noob but I go by this chart

0-3 weeks: root cube
2-6 weeks: 10cm pot
6-8 weeks: 10 gal container
2-3 months: 14 gal container
3-8 months: 22 gal container
8-16 months: 45 gal container

well after having done 100’s of plants in smart pots And having a few fall apart in my hands . I prefer just to toss them in the soil with the smart pot still on and avoid the transplant shock.
to each there own.

Fair enough, I'll definitely keep that in mind. The roots truly do just grow through no problem? What size should I go up to?

Fair enough smart pots are expensive why waste them reuse them also pot plants are resilient bastards I've snapped the main cola trying to train it under my fence line like snapped in half and duct tapped it with hockey sticks as splits lol and it healed itself I've never killed a plant but everyone has there methods like you say
