1000 watt Ventilation

Got a 4x8x8 grow room 3 feet on right for veg and 5 feet on left for flower. New set up. I need to hook up a 435cfm fan to the hood but wondering if the 6 turns is going to slow the airflow to the point that it wont cool effectively. I have to be careful about where i exhaust (neighbors) so I am limited to what I can do. Will a bigger fan cure the proposed problem?

I'm not sure what the proposed problem is?
Are you saying the duct will have to make 6 turns to get from the fan to the exhaust vent? Honestly, sure try to limit that, but its no real difference. What you need to do is dry run your setup for a couple days and see how the temperature behaves.

That was my concern. The amount of turns I would have to make. Would you blow the air through the hood or draw it across or does it make a difference. My first set up and would like to get it right the first time. I was trying to be stealth about the intake and discharge (out of sight of neighbors). Then I was reading about the airflow being cut down dramatically with all the turns. I think the hydro shop is just trying to sell me on useless equipment. I will have it finished this afternoon and will post pics.

Thanks for the insight,
Rasvial

ya def try and keep down on the turns and bends in your line. try and pull through the hood (draw across).
