go deep water culture. i started growing in dirt and had so much trouble with disease and pest and very slow growth. switched to dwc or bubbleponics and i was totally blown away by how much better. just use LUCAS METHOD or the General Hydro with basic nute suggest schedule. (use RapidStart, Floralicious, KoolBloom). I use walmart distilled water. Its so damn easy and results so damn great I'll never touch soil again! Thanks for posting you DIY filter im gonna make one thanks!!!
