1000w hps

get a reflector that got air flanges an u can pump cool air throu the hood sn out the grow room.sun system and hydrofarm have great ones. you going have 2 pump it out the room because thats alot of watts in that small room. it can be done but u are going 2 have 2 do it right.
 
yep - what chacha said. get two fans - one just for the lights (get a reflector with duct fittings and glass enclosure) and a fan for exhaust. i am using a 1000w of lights and in the warm weather, it can be a struggle to keep the temps down without venting the hot air.
 
Yeah, you're going to cook your plants without some type of fan. Look for a reflector that has a glass covering and 6 inch exhaust ports. You can get an inline fan that will pump air through the reflector and then you can vent it out a window or something. This is going to be mission critical for you in that tight space.
 
I have been using t-5's just dont think they can produce like a 1000w hps,so im going to do a test to see witch one is better
 
There are plenty of tests and evidence to compare them. HPS is definately going to be better if you can manage it.
