ok. chores are done, heres some pictures from today. first is garden shot, 2 and 3 are the ladiesfrom the previous posts, 4 is branch shot. 5th is a little chunk of green crack that just finished drying.
not very pleased with the green crack. looks ok, i just didnt like the taste or stone on it. seemed like its not very long lasting at all. wont be taking up room in the flower room with it anymore. gonna save a cut or two and see how it likes the out-of-dooors though.

thanks sicc. im not too bummed about the GC, just glad i didnt fill the whole room up with it. but hey, thats why we run testers, right? the la confidential is the only one i havent run a tester on, but ive seem the same genetics in action so i figured it was a safe bet.
last night i placed an order for some medijuana seeds and some assorted landrace strains. i guess theyre throwing in 20 'free' assorted beans as well. hopefully theyll make it through, then its off to the breeding lab...

nothins free...but its cool, cuz i cant decide what to try, hopefully ill get something i wouldnt think of buying. even more hopefully it will be something i can and want to use. no matter what, im excited. was looking at bcseeds.com. gotta be the most expensive seeds on the planet. if what they say about thc content and yield on some of their strains is true, though, probably be a good investment. maybe someday my hopefullies will allow me to sell beans at $50 ea...someday...maybe...

so thank god for calendars otherwise i wouldnt know what the hell was going on. today marks 4 weeks for the LA confidential, 5 weeks for the trainwreck and green crack. i had to take the drippers out. youd think id learn that they always seem to clog up.. third time ive treid em, third time ive torn em out after 2-3 weeks. no more. handwatering from now on. period.

also, my enviro controller is flipping out. the rH side doesnt turn on sometimes, turns off before it should other times, and most of the time when it gets close to where it should turn off or on it flutters. like the sensitivity is way too sensitive. so it looks like i will be picking up a dehumidifier while the factory takes their sweet time fixing my controller. i knew things were going too smoothly.

enough blah blah, heres the porn. we have a garden shot, couple pix of stacking action, one of the green crack and two top-downs of the ladies ive been following previously.

i dont know if ive said this before, but anyones free to comment here.

Super Green tastic Mr CAashtree. very impressed with the depth of green in those girls. It's just a nice sight to see such healthy looking girls. I hope the genetics come through for you on the LA, as it's always been a fav smoke of mine, but for a while (last year or so) the stuff they been cranking out of the coffeeshops hasn't really been hitting the spot (although my friend has a new batch in his place so may need to try it out again.)

Something about the name of Green Crack, just doesn't sit right with me, lol. It certainly looks the part that nug you posted.

Cheers for the update,

Peace, DST

got another progress report. i was thinking they seem to be smaller than what they should be by this time, but then i remembered that they didnt show any flowers for the first 12 days of 12/12 (they were pretty small when i flipped em..). so no worries. i just need to let them go another 12 days. this is the second harvest since adding a dedicated veg area, so its the first time i havent given them a week or so of veg under the hps.

my environment controller went out and that has been kind of a bitch. until i get it back, i have to use a recycling timer to run my ventillation. only way im able to keep rH reasonable is to vent for 3 mins every 18 mins during lights out, which has been dropping my temps noticably. the low during lights out was about 70, now its about 65. no big, but its been pretty warm lately. if we get some cold weather, gonna have to figure something else out. i should just get a dehumidifier, i guess.

im getting ready to move a batch of lavender into 12/12. it will be my first run with coco. ill be using canna coco a/b and pk 13/14 towards the end. probably give the cannazyme a whirl too, but no boost or swell or excellerator, or anything that costs more than a bottle of booze. gonna be a pain for a month or so, i cant fit trays in around whats already flowering. but after the ladies in soil are cleared out, in go the trays and its all coco from then on.

also need to get a pH tester thats actually worth a shit. my $30 hanna just isnt cutting it. any suggestions anyone?

first shot is some green crack thats at about week 5. second is la confidential, really week 3.5. next are the same bud (la) but trying different camera lighting. next two are the same ladies from previous posts and the last is just an overview. thanks for stoppin by, but enough blah blah, heres the pictures.

Hello CAashtree-Just spent the last hour going through your journal, smoking on that Mind Bender cross i took photos of. Your grow looks Great! How many plants total in flowering? Are you running 2X1000 HPS in flower room? What size is your flower room?I want to grow Lavender outdoor this season, what do you know about it? If you have a grow/smoke report on her that would be great. Welcome to post report in my journal or here.I'll be checking in now that i found you.TMB-

thanks tmb. ive got 18 flowering now (9 la conf, 6 green crack and 3 trainwreck) and yeah, there are 2 1000w hps. flower room (now) is about 7x11, which is what drew me to your post. veg is 4x11, but im probably gonna change that to a 11x11 and do veg somewhere else, just 4x4, many shelves.
ive only grown one of the lavenders so far, last cycle. thats where the next run came from. yield was unimpressive, but the plant was pretty small. like i said, just a tester. nugs were pretty nice, size considering. no colors, but temps never got too chilly for em. pointy and conical, not the densest ive seen. but again, small plant. taste and smell on the other hand , were great. mine smelled musty and earthy, slight skunkiness. taste was like an old school skunk with a bit of fruit and lavender on top.
another thing about my single lav - i had really really really bad mites last cycle, they hit hard around week 6 and almost wrecked the whole show. as it was, i had to stop and clean the shit out of my room and jump through flaming hoops and a bunch of other crap before i finally got the mites worked out. anyway, the lavender was the plant that they touched the least. it was wierd, they were all over the trainwreck and green crack, but only started on the lav when the others were crispy and jacked already (about week 8.5).
ill be thrwoing some into bloom in a week or so, so you can get a look at it. i guess ill start a new journal and title it 'perpetual something or other'.

thanks harvest highway.
its update time, but no pix for a couple of days, my dog chewed up my camera cord. not much change anyway...i think i pushed em a little hard on the nutes. no burning, but im giving em a good flush right now, then ill let em dry up and continue, no more nutes till harvest. we shall see what happens. did harvest two trainwrecks, theyre drying right now. ill post a pic or two and some weight with the garden pics. sorry for no porn, i promise ill take extra pictures to make it up.
