1000w simple closet grow

Hello this my third year growing in my closet. Every year my yield has increased and my last harvest yielded about 14-16 ounces. I don't have any special ventilation system, I just crack open the window or put on my home AC on. I do have 3 fans circulating around the plants to keep cool and i use a dehumidifier when needed. I keep the light about 24 inches above and the temp is in the low 80s. The closet is about 4x4x7 and can fit up to 6-9 plants in 3 gal containers. I've recently learned how to top and defoliate to increase yield. So far so good, let me know anyone has any comments or tips.

Up the pot size from 3g to 7g. Your yields will yet again, increase lol

I have one plant in a 15g fabric pot and my tent size is 4x4x6.5. I’m using a 600w HPS, no special exhaust system, just a Walmart fan bungee chorded to the ceiling of my tent to extract warm air and pull in cool air. My light is vented with air ducts going to my ac unit lol. Here is how she looks. Today is day 70 from sprout, day 6 of flower. When I get home and lights are off, I’m going to switch to my HPS bulb instead of my metal halide. You’re doing great and you buds look great!

Your grow looks great, and these guys have the right idea.

Less plants-bigger pots-bigger plants.

My buddy’s who grow think that you need 50-100 plants to get good yields. I tell them, veg your plants longer with less plants and you can get the same yields. I’m not sure why people think you need 10000000000 plants to get a pound lol
Your buddy is wrong...

I’m hoping for 400+ grams off this plant!

my plants, I started with 2 and one turned out a boy, were in solo cups for 2 weeks. After that I started counting veg. The girl vegged for 7 weeks before flipping to flower. When lights come on today, it’ll be day 7 of flower. I can’t wait to see them buds start stacking up!

Well it depends on your need. I grow in 1/2 gallon pot. In a 2x4, I can grow 18 plants easily and yield at least 18 oz. I also breed, reason why I have so many plants. Also SOG grow is ideal if you have a height constraint and still have the same yield.

If I have a room to grow, I might be tempted to do 5 gallons pots, just for production purposes and grow trees and still continue my breeding program on the side.

Here's a 1/2 gallon grow 6th week of flower. I'm sure this plant would give me over an oz.
