Will this be good enough, even if barely, to supply 20-30 5gallon buckets?
Bro, I have no idea. This will be my first dwc grow. Will that pump supply enough air to 20-30 5 gallon buckets to grow my girls? That's about 17 gallons a minute so 20 times 5 = 100 gallons 30 times 5 = 150. Depends on how fast you want to replenish.
I assume you are running a DWC setup? Will this be good enough, even if barely, to supply 20-30 5gallon buckets?
This pump would be good for 6-10 buckets...wont cut it for 20-30Will this be good enough, even if barely, to supply 20-30 5gallon buckets?
Like clown said, if you are not going to chain them all together, it will be a lot of work to manage everyone of those buckets individually. If you chain them together with a reservoir and circulation, you only need one point of contact for adding nutrients and water, or checking PH and PPM. The system will stay cooler if you circulate the solution too. It can be done pretty easily. I had a pump in my reservoir that was connected by 1/2 inch hose to a nipple on the furthest away bucket in the room. I put a fitting on the line to control water flow. The pump runs 24/7 and the whole system slowly circulates. This gives you an even PH, PPM and temperature throughout the whole system. Very cheap and easy to build from scratch using parts from Home Depot.Yes this is my first dwc. Got 2 mothers in soil that I'm going to be taking the clones from. I'm going to be growing 10-15 (closer to 10) plants while having 10-15 clones (also closer to 10) started so I can try and get up to a harvest 3-4 weeks after the last. I just plan on using 5 gal buckets and changing the water every 7-10 days? Still need air lines, elbows, tees, grommets, air stones and apparently another one of these pumps.
Still don't have all the info I need as far as feeding etc, but getting this ready a few materials at a time. My plants in FFOF should be ready in a month, so I'd like to be ready to try my hand at dwc.
