There's a you tube on the lighting issue and this guy teaches at a college. He is way over my head but he does break it down so you can calculate your light curve. Have to search it but it's a good vid. Good luck and you might want to use a dimmer just in case

Gavita says my 1700e is good for a 4 x 4 area, and its 645w, and 40.2w sq/ft in a 4 x 4 area.

An 8 x 8 area would need 4 of them. So thats 36sq/ft short. So youd need 6 of them.

1700e is also 1700umol.

4 lights works in a 10x10 cross lighting for adjacent fixtures makes up some of the edge intensity losses.

Either way 2000W isn't enough to flower that room properly.

could be OK if he isn't using all the floor space and has walkways around the edges or something.

I can’t speak on LED per say
But I ran a 10 x10 on HID
and 2000 watts left me 500 short of the optimum
7 foot sounds a bit tight but with LED’s
It should be sweet
My 2cents but these guys are better at LED

Thanks bud. Yeah the 7ft ceilings suck. First grow was last round. Let a few just do there thing. Had a few reach 6.5 ft -7.5 feet. Ended up moving them outside. Once at 9weeks went through cut the main buds. Now I got 9 that ended up revegging at 10 wks flower. Can't believe how much there blowing up.

Mars hydro fc4800-480w
Mars hydro fc300x2 300 w x2
Aglex4000 360w
Updayday uu4000 400 w
Samsung 301b 480w board -480 w

Sounds like 3 more fc 300s or a couple fc 4800 I'll be above the 3k mark.
