They will both colonize at about the same time if you put yourself on a decent shake routine.
I hope you meant BEFORE inoculation. I shake to loosen them up after they've cooled down. I then inoculate. If doing spores, I need to wait until they germinate and mate, I do NOT want them spread around looking for each other. I wait until I see white growth. On the other hand, for LC, shake immediately.
Then 20 and 60% (or so).

I find that the earlier you shake them the faster the full colonization. There is no harm in shaking them a day after you see evidence of growth. You will be surprised at how fast they finish off doing it that way. The mycelium is profuse at the micrsopic level and your first shake will distribute even the tiniest hyphae all around the jar, plus every kernel that had anything germinate on it will be another source of growth. While it is true that mycelium will grow faster after they have vecome dichariotic, the distances after the first or second shake are minute and crossed within a day or at most two.
Yeah, shake them "early", ie: as soon as you see something.
It might take a LONG time (couple of days to weeks depending on some strains) for a couple of points (or in my case, a single point) of inoculation to hit 20%. And the early ones could have been eaten away and started to dry out by then.
But shaken as soon as you see anything white, and you've got millions of points growing all over the place.

sorry for the delay guys. The area where I was doing it got a visit from the local dyfs agent. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/545495-first-grow-white-russian-sage-3.html#post7977334 as explained. Had to get rid of everything going, plants and all :'(. I recently found a new location. it's only 9.5 x 7 (roughly) Pics will be uploaded tomorrow.

Cut that shit out. You've got a tiny post history and you spend most of your posts trying to buy shrooms. Either you are a cop or a moron, so either way, the posts are annoying. Spend a year here, and maybe you'll have a RL hookup, but until then, forget it.
