Hey guys thanks for replying.

Warped: Your dead on about the PH ive been worried about that with both plants. PH is between 7 and 8. I Ph'd the next feed to about 6. Hopefully that helps.
When did you start your grow? I bet well after mine. I have had a super slow grow seems to me.
As you know i was out of town. I may have watered a bit over zealously when i returned. I watered both pots Monday night but have not watered since, do you think to much at once. The little plant has actually bounced back pretty well from the drought, I think i made it back just in time for it.
Yes is it getting about 1/4 strength nutes. Do you think i nuted too early or too late?

Jaag:I have 5500k's in there I will have to look for 6500k. I need to see if i can figure out a way to get some additional lights in there. my area may not allow me.
I feel you on the light schedule i promise. I do 12/12 to keep my plant short, and finish ?faster? not sure if i accomplished that. So yes early flower and it will produce one larger cola with little side branching. the skunk strain i used doesnt side branch much anyway.
I did have the little plant on 24/0 for about a week in a little grow box before i left for vacation. It was looking a little heat exhausted and i was getting alittle algae build up. which before i knew what it was (thanks warped) freaked me out, so i pulled it out.

if its getting heat exhausted consider using a fan or something to keep good air circulation... and yea i figured thats why you were doing 12/12... my buddy does the same thing and calls them his little power plants lol...

Hey Tik, I looked at my notes and I started 3 seeds on the 22nd of Oct, and I flipped the lights on the 4th of December, so I'm a few days short of my 5th week of flower. I think you'll be ok with the nutes, just keep an eye on things..and as far as watering, you can water a lot..I mean a lot of water, but the time in between is what matters the most. Let them get pretty dry before the next feeding or watering. I've seen some guys that actually dunk their plants under water until bubbles stop coming up, and then let them drain. Just use your finger or a lot of people judge by how light their container gets when dry, compared to wet. You'll get it

Yes Warped Pics please if you have them. We are on exactly the same schedule. I started germing 3 seeds on the 26th of Oct. I only got the one girl to pop the ground on Nov 1st. I have to work on my germinating technique. I use the paper towel method. All three sprouted rootlets but when moved to dirt only one came up. Same thing has happened everytime since. I've lost about 6 seeds so far to them not breaking the surface. Well two of those did break the ground but still had the seed shell on them and later died. I keep having miscarriages with my baby seeds.

Oh yeah Jagg i had to jump on that deal. I will work on my germing technique before i try to pop any of them though. I might get some vegetable seeds and work out a good solid style.

How do you guys germ your seeds.

I have the first couple of red hairs showing up, my Trich's are still all clear though. I had the chance to give my little plant some sun the last couple of days as it has been uncharateristically springy around here.

I just use the paper towel method, and so far it's worked really well. I went to Radio Shack and got one of those cheap little hand held microscopes, and man it works good. I was looking yesterday and my trichs are getting cloudy.. almost 50/50 clear to cloudy so it won't be much longer.

What magnification is your microscope? I got one of those jewelers loupes. It's 30x. Do you flush before you chop? If so when will you begin with water only?

i germ the same way but i take the wet paper towel and put it in a zip in a dark cool place... then i wait until they come close to coming completely out of the seed before i move them to a medium... sometimes theyll start growing in the paper towel lol... and i need to go pick up a microscope as well bc ive got about 3 weeks left... ill be flushing my lady but its scheduled on these technaflora nutes im using for the set up i have... ill cut down to two nutes for 3 days and straight ph adjusted water for 4 days... with soil i hear ppl say its all about the amount of nutes you use... if you use organic soil and limit nutes you want have to flush just your normal water schedule... but if you use heavy nutes youll wanna flush a week or even two ahead of the chop...

I think I am only going to water two more times on the 16th and then the 23rd. Do I need to let the soil dry out before I chop? If so I am looking at a January 30th harvest. Does that sound right or am I being too stringent with the dates. Just let the plant tell me what to do. I need structure! Lol.

one thing i have learned is that i cant rush anything... the plant will def let you know when shes ready... and i def had a structure up until flowering... not too much you can do in this stage but watch and adjust lights lol... my date is the 24th give or take a week...

The microscope I have is 60x-100x. It's illuminated and it was worth the $11.99. I mixed up a half strength gallon of nutes to use this week, and I'll start to flush when that's gone, so it should be about a 2 week flush. Did those links to my album work?

Hey! I'm growing California Orange bud too. I have some pics on my public album if you care to see. I don't think thats an auto flowering plant... Is it? It's growing slowly because you basically skipped vegetative stage. Your light cycle is all wrong. You should have had it on a 24hr cycle for at least a month (3 months recommended). Since you basically skipped vegetative stage, it's going to continue to grow very slowly. Probably slower than normal. And because you skipped vegetative stage, it's probably going to yield less. Again, if this is an auto flowering strain, then forget i said anything. Also, She looks very healthy. Don't worry about anything now. It's too late. Just be happy she's a healthy girl.

Yes i would like to see your pics. I use 12/12 to flower faster and keep my plants shorter. I couldnt veg for a month in my space, expecially not 3. i gave it a little sun the last three days and it is picking up. I'll be patient and let her ride for now. You're right it's not an auto.
