i can tell that you guys have heart for this, but i really dont see the problem(s).. all i can suggest is more space for developing veggies and for sure you need to filter that exhaust.... can you be mors specific with what it is you need help with?

Keep it simple. Cant stress that enough, add a door between the flowering rooms and save all that money on curtains and the fact that odor ill pour out?

You are wasting a lot of space for air, 3x7 would be more than enough room for an A/C before your air goes outside. 9x7 for a veg room, and 2 14x7 flowering rooms. Get rid of the hallways??? waste of space. add doors, get rid of huge area in veg room, just make a small airlock, a small room to clean yourself and keep the odor in.

If you run a couple centrifugal blowers (i got one for 10" for $60 used only 250 retail anyway) Suck through some big carbon filters, one well place carbon filter per flowering room, hook up the blower to the filter and run your ducting. Seal off the flowering rooms as best as you can!

Your making this really complicated, and you only have 15k, the fact is I can blow 15k on 2 10x10 flowering rooms Easily.
15k will get you HOPEFULLY enough HID Lights, 4 massive carbon filters, at least 6 centrifugal blowers, all the extra little fans to get air moving in the room, Lighting alone for a grow that size could run over 6k, you will need probably around $1000 in just ducting! $200 on duct tape. 2-3k on fans. Money will go Fast if you try to make a super self growing super op, it would be nice but you need to get realistic on the cost of things.

Adding a hydro system will run MINIMUM 5k for that size, dont forget about all the little things, the extra water pumps for that size, all the reservoirs you will need, you could spend 2000 on pumps reservoirs alone easy.


You should be planning on what your going to absolutely NEED to do a Proper crop, then you can start optimizing, dont expect the first grow to go perfect, your going to want at least 3k for all the stuff that will come up during the grow!

Its easy to get excited about something like this but take your time and be realistic for what this could be costing you.

Growing is a simple equation stealth vs budget vs yield and it can be a difficult balance! I would seriously plan on how you can do a PROPER budget crop with Max yield and Max stealth for your budget, dont forget that things always change, by the time you finish your first crop your gonna have a million new ideas of what you wanna do with your space.

I really recomend looking at prices for how much equipment you will be looking at.

Im setting up my new house and its nothing near that size, my original thought was maybe 2000, but lights and fans and filters alone are costing me over 4k.

damn skippy... you can budget all you want but the fact of the matter is that you will always have hidden and unexpected costs. spend all your money on the lights, get the scrubbers and fans, start in soil and see where it goes from there.. 10gs on lights scrubbers and fans should get you started.. then you got 5 for the little shit you will need.

Does this room have access to windows??? Those done correctly are great access for intake and exhaust and can be done very discreetly as well.

Actually BC i was thinking about the shipping container deal but there way to much logistics behind that and in all honesty the more I get into this the more I realize that 15K isn't going to get me all the things I need but the more detailed the plan is ( i have from now till december1 to finish the plan) the better off it's going to be for me inthe long run I will be able to set things up and make purchases at my own pace this is fun for me... i'm trying to keep it as simple as possible while still making a great space for growing because like flojo said i may just need to start out in soil and go from there... maybe then i do hydro and don't like and switch to aero/nft who knows but setting up the actual grow space with proper ventilation/a.c./humidity control/heat/and proper sized flowering/veg/hvac rooms is what's important to me right now. I've already been pricing alot of stuff out that i'm going to need as i have decided on the system i'm going build from pvc in the first flowering room... so it's really just getting the layout together

Why did you divide your flowering areas? Why not just have one big room? this way the lights from one group of plants will also help the ones beside them. If you got rid of the wall you could fit one more light in there also.

the greatest advice you will ever get: dont spend the whole 15gs at once...spend half and then go from there, hidden costs and forgotten expenses will fuck you nasty styles

with 15 k you can do a ton... first off you have to decide how much power can i use.... total KWH i run 65 a day on just growing.. per day... Remember what THC stands for...Temp, Humidity, consistency.... spend most of your money on the climate control plus CO2 then go from there.... but i would do is 2 back to back stadiums with 4 1000s watts each on flip flop relays..you can build those very cheap and you can pull close to 2 lbs easy every 8 to 9 weeks... good luck...

hey 420 guy that is a great looking grow room,but it is a big step.i think bctrippn has some good points from start to finish from getting rid of hallways to just simple steps and getting things going in the right direction before doing the whole set up may be one flower room to start where fine tuning can be done as you go.so you dont shot your self in the foot by going into all guns blazing and some small thing goes wrong and fuks both your flower rooms could be anything from being to hot or what ever you know.also how many plants per room how much you want to yeild and how often soil,hydro,or coco-coir.man its just so much to think about.sorry i dont know about hvac.

P.S dont do it in a shipping container in the ground someone near me had that 2 of them in fact ended bad for him:peace:

ha i hate Canada...noo.. good old US of A..flip flop means that you run 4 ballast 24/7 and you switch the power from one light to the other light once every 12 hours...theres a bunch of diy stuff out there that shows you how... i you would say for a whole opperation if your computer savey you could get it cheap... this list is for two seperate rooms one running during the day and the other one running at night...

1000 watt ballast 150 X 4 600$
8 lamp cords 20$ X 8 160$
two 12k btu ac portible 299 ( home depot) 600
timer relays switchs..20$ a piece need 4 of them... 80$
Can 150s 250$X 2 500
cd 32 burner co2 350
Vortext 8 inch 249 X 2 500
booster inline fans 45$ x 2 100
ducking, nails, timmers, misc 300
( what i did ) 26 concret blocks per setup;;if doing two then 52 at 1.32 each =68



the wood costed me the most .. 6.85 per 2x8x10 if doing 5 tier you need 10 peices soo thats like 68 or soo per each setup 130ish...

grow bags 1 gallon .13 each 200 for each one 26$ for each 50 total...

then soil...i used about 7 to 8 CU feet to fill my bags..i didnt fill it all the will
if using fox farm..then 20 bucks a cu foot.. soo like 160 to 180...
mylar 4 rolls 100 x 4 400

grand total...

4 fans 20 $ each = 80 around 4000$


that puts you around 4k or soo....soo you can get the idea... however what i would do is make 2 rooms in one big room and use the big room as a lung...meaning... fill the main room with the co2 you need and the air temp and then the little room s... 6.5 feet wide 10 feet long 7 feet high will suck in the air it needs... look up northern farmer,,,on icm or even here... you can get a lot of ideas but for the money spent..its the fastest return on investment and the most effective use of light other then rotational gardens... in a 10 foot stadium 6.5 lbs is what people usually get.. and with two of those together...13 lbs doesnt seem to shabby ... and you can get 5 to 6 cycles in a year easy..with only a week veg...
