150 watt hps scrog-blue mystic, papaya, and northern lights!

How's it going, guys? I recently ordered 3 different seeds online. They are all regular, non-feminized seeds. They're all small indica plants with the same flowering period and size. I got Blue Mystic, Northern Lights and Papaya.

I built a small grow box. here are the specs:
  • 2x2x3
  • 150 watt hps
  • 3 1/2 gallon pots
  • Miracle Gro Organic Potting Soil
  • Desk Fan
The box is actually just a frame that also holds the light. I wrapped it in a mylar space blanket and sealed the fan to the mylar to make an exhaust, which keeps the box around 78 degrees F.
The seeds germinated and the roots popped out yesterday. I planted them because I was about to leave for 2 days and didn't want them to die in the paper towel/bag. I'm planning on growing them for about a month, then putting on a scrog and flowering them for around a month.
This is my first indoor grow.. any advice, comments or criticism would be much appreciated. Have a good one :D
I'll post pictures within the next 2 or 3 days of the box and whatever growth there might be.

Looks good... I use a 150 watt also, just had my first harvest.. I threw in 3 or 4 cfls to cover the bottoms of the plants.

Update
so i was gone for 4 days, and just got back to check out my plants.
the northern lights is doing great, with new leaves everytime i look.
the blue mystic is pushing out it's first leaves still.
i think i over-watered the papaya. i'm using miracle gro organic soil (shitty i know) and i think over-watering caused the time release nutes to come out too much, resulting in the yellowing on the embryonic leaves):
i'll see what happens. probably gonna hold off on water for the two sprouts for a few days, maybe water the Northern lights tomorrow. is it too early to fim or top it? what do you guys think?98.jpg878.jpg2893.jpgdownload.jpgphoto (9).jpg

so, just noticed that the blue mystic's roots have reached the side and bottom of the pot. it's planted in a 1/2 gallon pot. only a few roots have made it to the bottom/sides of the pot. they are clear, and i realized that roots stop growing when they come into contact with air or light.
i wrapped 2 layers of wrapping paper around the side of the pot (with the two colored sides facing in, white on the outside to reflect light). will this be sufficient? also, do i need to transplant now that a few roots are showing? or can i wait? i only have limited vertical space, so i was considering a low, but wide pot.

Im not sure that those holes are sufficient in the bottom of your pot. I would transplant asap for the 2 reasons. I wouldnt choose a low wide pot, because the roots grow down more than they grow out as you can see with your clear pot. Jorge Cervantes also says to use pots that are much more tall than wide. If you are worried about hieght, you can always do some simple LST.
