Now see. . . he should have specified that when he was running for the presidency, maybe I wouldn't have hated him so much.
They always seem to forget that business owners are voters too. Sometimes they vote for what's best for their business, not for what's best for their personal interests.

I think he wants to help out small business owners, but I really don't know. I don't own a business so I didn't pay attention to things like that.

I think you mean feared him so much. I don't hate Obama, but working for one of those small companies that easily nets more than $250K/year for the boss, I'm worried that if Obama taxes the boss too much, the Boss will say screw it, take his money, and run.

Did you just come out of a coma or something? The ship is already fully breached and it's going down fast, Obama just stepped on board yesterday, you can't blame this mess on him.
Is a coma like Kansas? I've been there before.
Obama and a bunch of other Congresspeople caused it. Maybe Obama can come up with some cool idea like make things affordable for those who can't normally buy them. A car for everyone. It would sure help the auto industry.
or maybe he and the federal government should stop trying to help so much. It's killing our economy.

He just became president yesterday. While the bailouts were going on, he had already vacated his senate seat. He didn't have anything at all to do with the bailouts. Going back farther, he was an Illinois Senator from 1997 until 2004, which means anything he voted on then only affected people who live in Illinios. He became a Junior Senator from Illinios from 2005 to Nov, 2008 when he vacated his seat after being elected president.
The mess the country is in today took far longer than 3 years to create. You're going to have to look farther to find who's to blame.

Nothing to do with the Bail outs other than voting for them, because despite campaigning (and neglecting his senatorial duties) he was still the Senator, and he still supported them, and voted for them...

He vacated his seat Nov 16, the big 3 didn't get theirs until December.

I like what he did about lobbyists. I don't know if it will do any good, or his motives, but I like it.

I definitely don't hate Obama ... in fact, I admire the guy. I feel GREAT that America has come far enough in race relations that we have elected a black person to the presidency. It say volumes about our country. Also, I admire Obama's organizational skills, without which, he could have never beaten the Clintoon machine. I admire his oratory skills too ... he's great at speaking, a skill that after 70 years on this planet, I am sorely lacking in. Believe it or not, I'm positive about the way he completely kicked the Republican's asses. They deserved it ten-fold.
Now then, shall we talk about his socialistic politics? The man is skewed in that area for sure. Wake me up when he starts talking about state's rights.

Why do people who don't like Obama refer to him as a savior or a messiah? People who do like him just call him the President. How skewed does a person have to be to confuse a president with a messiah?

Though I'd imagine that he was just the one, instead of the ten, I don't think we could stand having a president with multiple personalities... one minute we're preparing to go to war with Russia, the next were asking them to bomb Iran, the next we're asking them to Nuke China, the next we're telling them to sell Yellowcake to N. Korea, and the next, who'd know.

Well its mostly a reaction to the hard core Obama supports and their blind faith.
I think perhaps people should tone down their expectations and lay off the blame game, their is plenty of blame to go around.
America is a fickle bunch of people, its like a pendulum swinging left and right. They will grow disenchanted and swing the other way. They always do.
Watching the Obama supporters is slightly reminiscent of the Monty Python movie 'Life of Brian'.
Throngs on Hollywood elite and the media following him around and chanting 'his shoe, his shoe".
