nice grow got to love purp but i still think you can put your light closer because you have an inline fan blowing through the light which the purpose of that is so that you can put the light closer without burning plants. love to see the organic grows. im sure you guys know this but when you start to flower use minimal bug spray. even now try to not use it very often unless you have a bug problem unless you want to be like the 80s and spray raid on your dank. keep up the good worka nd thanks for all the picsbongsmiliebongsmilie:eyesmoke:
 
How close do you think we can have the light? Right now its about 2 feet 4 inches away. We haven't seen any signs of light burn however, so maybe we'll lower it to 2 feet. We had a problems with gnats for awhile, but instead of spraying the plant itself, we sprayed the soil. This is where gnats breed, and it seemed to take care of our problem.
 
So we moved the light closer to the plants, it's at exactly 2 feet from the tops. The buds are quickly increasing in size now. We had a few issues with light leaks, but they're all sealed up now and we should be good to go. Here's some pictures for you.

haha a sea of purple is what we're hoping for. A lot of the stems are starting to turn purple, as well as the main stem a very little bit. Hopefully by the end the whole plant will be purple.

It looks like you have some of the same problem I had. My leaves yellowed like that because of a nutrient solution burn and the weird turning of the leaves was because of a pH imbalance. Check the ppm and pH of the water you put in and check the pH of the soil.
 
put the cool tube a lil'bit closer to the tops!1,2 feet from the tops is tha bomb! and wach 1-2days:leaf::-P they shoud explode in buds:clap::weed::hug::!:
but the best results will be if you 2ganngstaz go in tha store and buy another 600watt or 1000watt HPS for tha light leak:!::!::!::dunce::o:fire:
by tha way,and dont forget another ventilator! the clones like windy!

So this update will be the last one for about a week or so, as we are going on spring break and will be leavin town. A good friend will be taking care of them in the mean time, but he won't be snapping photos. Here's some pictures of the carbon filter we just hooked up today, since these babies are starting to smell!

They are looking great, there are so many budding sites it's ridiculous. We are still using Rhizatonic, Cannazym, Bio Boost, Bio Flores, Molasses, and Purplemaxx. We will also be using Gravity later on in the cycle before we flush.

Are you referring to the yellowing we had before? Right now the plants only look yellow because we have a crappy camera and the HPS bulb. We think that the plants directly under the light got some bleaching, so we started rotating them more often.

Hey what's going on? First off nice flock of green you have there. You ask in the first few pages about light movers and the amount of light you have.
The light mover would pay off big time, as you see in your pics the far left and right of the canapy are growing side ways or to the light, this is because they are not getting enough direct light. As you see in the middle they are love'n every min. I use a light mover and it adds oz every time, well worth the money. Another thing is you will be able to lower the light even closer because the light will not stay in one spot over the plants for a long period of time. This will make big fat dense buds......ummmm..... sorry where was I ?
I would think of trimming some of the lower parts of the plants, this will help with air flow; the lower part will not receive the amount of light to make it worth wild to keep. It will also help you with watering. It looks like you water by hand???

Great setup! Could you explain how exactly you are using the window for exhaust to keep it stealth from the other side (outside)? I always wonder how best to accomplish this.
 
The room is about 8x8x10 or so. As far as the light mover goes...wish we had done it. For those of you who are debating one, DO IT. We currently rotate our plants every 3 days to try to even out the lighting but still ask myself the "what if..." about the mover.

The window box has a 2x4 frame around the edges and is screwed to the wall using L brackets. This box is damn near air tight around the edges, meaning the exhuasted air actually leaves the room and doesn't leak back in. The window is opened about 6" or so, directly where the ducting goes through the plywood. In this spot, the curtain does not over the exhaust, as it would block airflow and cause the hot air to back up in the window box. So from the outside all you see is a small rectangle on the bottom corner of the window that is not covered by the curtain while the rest of the window is. Also, outside we have a large tree that blocks the majority of the window from any lurking neighbors.

T-minus 31 days until harvest!
