Bucket Status; Light 18/6 (sun blaze T24) Water & Air 24/0
Balls balls every were I see balls. Yep we have 1 more male. Man I now have 2 Purple Jem males and 4 Blue Streak males. That's just a lot of balls. Going to chop out 2 of the BS males and keep 2 going for pollen. Also starting to move the 3 in the AG into the bucket. As the spots open up. They are on day 12.

I shit canned one more plant today. Its not all bad I have the best looking male and 1 backup of the blue streak. I have 1 I think is going to be a lady still in the bucket and I have moved 2 from the Aerogarden to the bucket so far. The one's I moved from the AG are on day 13. So we have some time before we know sex for them. I also have 10 more outside in planters. So if I have to I can pollinate some of them.

Yeah I was hoping to do better. But we will make what we got work. I am stoked about all the pollen I'm going to get. I will have a very good supply of both BS & PJ. I have a friend with 4 more purple jems coming up and we will be making seeds out of any lady's he gets. He is on day 5 with them. Then I get some seeds to start my seed production of the PJ's with.

Wow last plant in that batch came up male.
We chopped it down.
So we have the one best looking and earliest flowering male left. We should be able to start getting pollen from it in the next 2 or 3 days.
Also just finished up getting the pollen from the purple jem. That worked out great. We got a bunch. I have 1 small bottle in the fridge, and 1 in the freezer for later. I'll give the one in the fridge to my friend. He has 4 PJ's coming up, and we are hoping to get lady's to paint with the pollen.
Well considering that I only have the 1 male at day 24 and the three at day 16. We will be switching the post to reflect the three we are hoping to get girls out of. But I do have to say. OK. We changed some things. I chopped out the LR2 the other day. So I put the lights back on the buckets. I have 2 buckets going. 5 of the 9 I put in the paper towel the other day have germed so far. I shut down all water pumps, and I am just running air. I have 2 very large air stones running in each bucket. That is more then enough to keep every thing wet. I used the sub pump until I got the sprout up over the top of the neoprene. Then I shut them down. I didn't want the added temp to the rez.

Well bucket 1 got a rez change and a nute increase using the HG recirculating schedule. For aggressive growth. What I did was pulled 1Gal. out and dumped it then got a gal of new rain water. Add the nuts to get the PPM's up. So you could say it got a 1/2 a rez change. I will do it again in 2 days to to make it a 2 Gal change out. It helps keep the Ph stable. I also think there going to be lady's. They are past the 21 day mark and no balls, and history tells us this is a good thing.
Bucket 2 will get it's first taste of nutes tomorrow and a Gal of new water. down to 5, and 4 look great. One is a little behind.

Bucket 1 is is down to 2 plants 1 lady and 1 no sex yet. Ph keeps dropping and have to fight a little to keep it right. I am painting the lady with a mix of pollen from the first and the second male Blue Streak. That plant just made this grow perpetual. I am now making more BS seeds than I am planting.
Bucket 2 has 4 plants and 1 is still sketchy but looking better. Ph in this bucket is flat on. no change in 2 days.
OK this is what the Blue Streak looks like. This is one my friend has going. He did a great job on this one and should net a OZ dry weight
