Hello, this is my 2nd attempt at growing marijuana and they 1st attempt at growing DWC bubbleponics. I bought a DWC kit online which contained the following:
  • Four 2 Gallon heavy duty grow buckets with 3.0" net cups. Manufactured with FDA compliant resins.
  • Four outlet air pump with adjustable pressure. GPH 254 LPM 16
  • Four air injection technology 6.0" (AIT) with air lines.
  • Four easy drain plugs and easy fill caps
  • Syringe with draw tube (for checking pH and TDS)
  • Grodan starter seed grow cube
I started from seeds. My seeds are Nirvana Sees, Feminized Auto Flower Short Ryder

I started the seeds on June 15, 2016. I planted the seeds directly in the grow cubes, which were previously soaked in ph balanced water (ph 5.5). The grow cubes were placed in the grow nets and surrounded by hydroclay balls and suspended in bucket. The water in the buckets was ph balanced to 5.5 and no nutrients were added.

I have a 5'X5X7' mylar lined grow tent with a 600 watt HPS light with an air cooled hood. I have a carbon filter pulling air through the hood and out of room and an inline fan pulling fresh air from outside to the inside of the tent. For nutrients I plan to use Fox Farms Hydro per their feeding schedule. At this point I have not added nutrients and do not plant to until leaves form.

I am currently running the lights on a schedule of 20/4; on/off and have the cubes covered with glass jars as humidity3 domes.

Again this is my 1st at attempt at DWC so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I plan to update this thread often and learn as I grow. If this is the not the appropriate forum for this thread let me konw and I will move it.
Thank you in advance for your input.

Correction

I am currently running a MH Conversion 600 Watt bulb. I do also have a 600 watt Super HPS bulb available. Correct me if I am wrong, but from my research most people suggest to use the MH Conversion bulb for the entirety of the auto flower grow. There is no need to switch to the Super HPS bulb. Attached is a picture of the bulbs (Ignore the 400 watt label, my bulbs are rated for 600 watts). Bulbs.jpg
